  • Epic epic forever. Better than Skyrim music :D

  • Neverwinter Nights 3 anyone ?

  • I Love game Neverwinter Nights :)

    LOVE !!!

  • This song is epic.

  • This is the most awesome RPG ever. And it's sad that everybody is comparing it to other games. I grew up with NWN, and it has always been in my heart and it will always be. It's the most awesome RPG I have ever played. I never deleted NWN from my computer. And I never will. I play it. And I always will. I remember the first day I got NWN. Memories. ^_^

  • Best music ever... OH YEAH! SKYRIM's theme music has a match!!

  • Just got NWN2 today, ah the nostalgia

  • i still think that this(with mask of betrayer expansion) was more epic than dragon age origin

  • personally thing this one doesnt hold a candly to the original NWN theme, but still good enough.

  • god i miss this

  • I really wish they'd make another Neverwinter Nights. I mean, I absolutely adore Dragon Age, and I'm quite partial to the Elder Scrolls, but Neverwinter was the first one I played. Valen will always be my first video game romance! <3

  • Every-year, where I live, I listen to this theme the day of the first snowfall.

  • @TheOglibogli That sounds like the perfect setting for this.

  • I hated the end of this game, you beat evil but die, WTF, at least in NWN 1 you didnt die

  • I have a feeling that after I complete this game it will start to snow a ton.

  • As much as I love NWN 1 & 2 they can't compare to Planescape: Torment or Baldur's Gate trilogy as long as story goes.

  • 7 people follow the king of shadow

  • if Obsidian and Atari relise new NWN 3 it will be soo much more epic then Dragon Age...please game developers make pause with Dragon Age for some time and give us NWN 3. You wont fail for sure !!!!!

  • @sallee132 I would rather keep Dragon Age and ditch the new Neverwinter MMORPG. It seems that MMORPGs are the new thing now, we got The Old Republic instead of KOTOR 3 and now Neverwinter

  • @dragondisaster i like more RPG then MMORPG too =)

  • i played lots of games but NWN 2 is something special...i played it and finish it like 5 times and i never get bored...i will play it again for sure...

  • YUAN-TI'S RULE

  • I never played the second game, but I must say that the song in the first game was far better :)

  • NWN2's story far outshone NWN's and the graphics were updated as well, too bad it was a buggy mess.

  • This song...I swear, making character with this music would slowly get to your head...I mean...In a good way. I guess I would just put allot of time into the characters...maybe 20, 30 minutes of fine tuning, and that accompanied with this song would sort of make you lose your sanity...But always in a good way.

  • @FlameExecutioner Aye.. I got itch to play it again, even though I finished it couple of times, but this song reminds me on all other good music and fun I had playing NWN2... Some stuff are just made to be eternal

  • Between 0:21 and 0:45 you really have an amazing potential theme developing, but I think the composer blows it and makes the rest of the track somewhat discordant. But that's just my opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • Starts out very promising and beautiful, but the tune lets itself down after 48 seconds in.

  • This was a better theme then the SoZ theme.

  • 7 people fell asleep by Grobnar's rambling and accidently clicked the 'Dont like' button.

  • @Godrip true man but you can't forgot about The Witcher games. For me Witcher is the best crpg game I have ever played, on second position is Dragon Age Orgins and on third Baldurs Gate :D

  • @mozey94 Oh yeh right 100% agree on that! The Witcher is of course is in my top list also. I just ment the RPG's where you commend a whole team not a single character. But the story and background of the Witcher series and univers is one of my favourites. ( Dragon Age also noticed that, and they bring back the medieval Europe and today's problems in a fantasy cliche like never before....)

  • @mozey94 i ONLY play rpgs but i never could get into the witcher maybe it is because im a rogue and assassin and he is a warrior but i never did like the witcher

  • @mozey94 Reading it, I'm proud that I'm a Pole. >D

  • @mozey94: You have no idea how much I agree with you.

  • @mozey94 if there is a cathegory for an "honourable mention" i believe that would be reserved for Planescape Torment. But that's just an oppinion.

  • @mozey94

Yup, but still...I'd like to see this time another trademark RPG get its own video game. Warhammer Fantasy RPG or Warhammer 40000 RPG. In case of 40k, we have Dark Heresy (where you play as inquisitorial Acolytes), Rouge Trader (where even you get your own ship to customize like you want), Deathwatch (RPG with badass Space Marines), and Black Crusade (where you play as the Forces of Chaos [or at least people wronged by the Imperium]). Imagine the potential of such games.

  • @Godrip Rotfl, You call Dragon Age CRPG? Please dude, don't make me laught. It's just a slasher.

Baldurs Gate, Planescape torment, and NWN (But only with a living Dungeon Master) Those games can be truly called CRPG.

  • @thamiar you don't know what cRPG is do you?

it doesn't matter if it has slashing.

BG wouldn't be a cRPG either, cause you always have to fight.

The ONLY game that could truly be called cRPG, with the most strict and irracional sense of the word, are the Ultima games.

and btw he didn't said CRPG.

  • @WillyWallace100

Ain't cRPG simply "computer role playing game"? And to imply that there's only one "true" cRPG is really rather silly. I don't like Baldur Gate, but saying it's not cRPG because "you always have to fight" looks like a non sequitur to me.

  • @Godrip until skyrim

  • @Godrip Well this game is better imo cause of the better multiclassing, MP and atmosphere.

  • @Godrip

"Greatest RPG game after Baldurs Gate triology"

I think you misspelled "Planescape: Torment" :3

  • @panjawel2 You're right. Planescape: Torment really should just be the name of the whole genre. As quintessence of what RPG is.

And sure, Neverwinter Nights 2 would be the greatest Planescape: Torment after... in my opinion, KOTOR 2. I didn't like Baldur's Gate so much, for some reason. I think, it's because there aren't exactly many dialogues, even in second part, compared to these games that I mentioned before. Just my opinion.

But sure, Neverwinter Nights 2 will prove its titular number

  • Great game but it was quite buggy, I remember I killed a dragon and then it wouldn't let me leave the area and I couldn't progress at all and had to quit ;(

  • memories :]

  • Toby should have made a literal on the Neverwinter nights 2 trailer

  • Obsedians NWN2 came now where near as close to NWN quality

  • Its not a game,but a fool sheet!

    NWN 1 is mach better!!!!!!!

  • I listen to this song every time I work on sewing my Neverwinter Nine costume. It's a part of my fabulous "Get Shit Done" playlist.

  • I am still playing this :D

  • I remember, got this when I buyed my PC... Awesome game!

  • Already regretting not having my copy of NWN2.

  • @Maciejka0111 I can tell you how to download it illegally, it's easy as hell. ;) Pm if you're interested.

  • @Maciejka0111 You can still buy it on Atari's website. Have fun friend :)

  • @Maciejka0111 That's why it is better to use Steam. You can download it any time

  • 6 people watched the good ending.

  • ahh goosebumps gooose bumps!!!

  • NWN series fucking rulz

  • love the music!! this is such a great soundtrack. just found the website of the guys that wrote the music. Heavy Melody Music. heavymelodymusic . com

they also just did Shift 2 Unleashed. very cool!

  • Comment removed

  • the tale of the king of shadows and the illefarn empire is such a sad story.

remarkably good game and story. it has awesome twists and turns. i still like the icewind dale soundtrack better than this one. sorry, but icewind dale has one impressive piece after another, although nwn2 is the better game, over all.

  • AWSOME MUSIC!!!! one of the best game soundtracks- its almost better than the game itself ;)

  • 6 grey wardens disliked this video

  • @anonymous133711 Why Grey Wardens?

i know who they are, but i don't get you're Joke.

  • @WillyWallace100 becuse of dragon age...they riped off seriusly this game and ppl who don't know nwn think its the best game :/

  • @SteelCrash oh... i get it now, but that's not true, i know a lot of people who do know nwn and love that game, and most of them HATE nwn 2

  • @WillyWallace100 yea i don't really know why would they hate nwn of course its not cllasic but its a great game with great story ppl who say that nwn 1 rules but nwn 2 suck probably didn't even play trough the whole game and are living in the past

  • @anonymous133711 I'm now the 7th grey warden, just because you said that lol

  • NWN2 is the best rpg for me

  • @theAthenianHoplite For me it's second after BG2.

  • NWN2 was generic and bland, if you ask me. That said, it was miles better than the first one (not that thats a big achievement, mind you). The first expansion MotB is hands down the best RPG following Planescape and Fallout, however.

  • @giantrobots1122 Agreed. But I still like NWN 2, and of course NWN 1. And yeah, MotB is great, for me NWN HotU = NWN 2 MotB - this is masterpieces, especially HotU :)

  • I really enjoyed the NWN games, but BG reigns supreme for me

  • This is really not as epic as the first Neverwinter Nights. Sorry.

  • @yiany ,i disagree,nwn was great but nwn2 is much better

  • I could never find the Wendersnavian (both times I played in August and last month) where can I find them? I thought they were a figment of Grobnar's immagination.

  • @MisterCharlton The Wendersnaven are, if every description is taken into account, giant (or not) invisible rats that have the powers of a minor god, live in a city in the sky, no one has ever seen or heard, and give your semi-crazy Gnome bard an invisible kazoo that sounds identical to him humming that will somehow aid you when you finally confront the King of Shadows. Given the insanity of this description, can you honestly say that any sane person would think they exist?

  • 5 people are Wendersnaven :P

  • I like this music and also like nwn 1 music and all bioware games except the expansion storm of zehir...anyway in this game warlock rules thats as clear as a texas cow

  • 260 heroes have risen to the call against 5 minions of the evil gods. Those poor bastards don't have a snowball's chance in whichever hell they serve.

  • hmm... Neverwinter nights 2's score is too.. generic for me. its too light, cheery. listen to the first's score, it was darker, more epic, less chorus, more instruments, it was unique to the game and gave it a distinct feel.

this is just generic fantasy score.

  • @SteveAkaDarktimes It's all a matter of what it's associated with. I realize that it is generic fantasy music, but the experiences I had in the game make it mean something more than that. I never played NWN (though I should), but it's obviously more important to you as a game, and so you like the theme more. Fair enough.

  • Neverwinter Nights series is so fucking epic, that I'm so proud to live in it's era!

  • 5 ppl dont believe in Wendersnaven :D

  • @Esperion12 LOL maybe I would believe in Wendersnaven if they would only speak of it in plain English!!! Some of us here don't speak freaky-deaky Gnomish!

  • There are too many bugs in this game

  • @Thunker71 one of my 2 complaints, nonetheless it was still a great game

  • Camera angles were a bit annoying in this game but still a classic :) It was nice to have henchmen you actually cared about just like the good old days of Baldurs Gate.

In the first NWN while the henchmen were ok; they were just undeveloped; at least until it's two expansions :)

  • best theme song in the history of computer games

  • Lets go friends,we 236 will easily find those 2 and slay them.

  • NWN2 is a legend, like all Dungeon&Dragons game storys ,like Baldurs gate and IcewindDale

  • @Preternaturalism

    @JackSkeleton1337

If I'm thick, how come I'm getting 'A's in my exams, Christian? Which leads me to another thing, are you so thick (and thus hypocritical) to think that I think that saying God makes you religious? Because it doesn't. I'm saying you fuckers are religious because you are fucking retarded, like all religious morons. And you didn't get the sarcasm I made earlier. I suggest you both take your bullshit bibles and cram them up your fat lad asses. Fucking Christians.

  • @MrOpenGamer You get A's on your exams, do you? Does that make you feel special, somehow? Are you so insecure that you need to use your scores on often arbitrary exams to justify your self-worth? If so, you might want to see a psychologist...

  • @ShrougerNite

Wrong again, Bible Thumper. I was just proving I'm not retarded.

  • @MrOpenGamer Just to clarify, I'm not a bible thumper. Simply arguing in favor of the benefits of religion in society does not necessarily mean I follow a certain creed. In fact, you are jumping to some very odd conclusions regarding my beliefs; nowhere did I mention anything pertaining directly to Christianity.

  • 3 people wanted to fall in love with Neeshka instead T.T

  • The strange thing is Jeremy Soule did not compose this but even so an epic theme :D. Though a lot the music he composed from NWN 1 was reused in NWN 2 which was fine by me as it still had a place in some of the environments; I liked hearing the Cania theme in some of the areas of the Illefarn ruins; especially the area with the spirits :) I wouldn't have minded some of the temple music in Baldurs Gate 1 being reused in Baldurs Gate 2 :)

  • Bioware and Obsidian..... I absolutely love you both.

  • I srill think that mask of bethrayer main theme is better thanthis =/

  • truly epic... <3

  • i want the music and play it. I WANT IT SO BADLY! WHY CAN"T I HAVE IT!?!?!?! *sob sob*

  • @porkchoppohl you can!!!...go download it from a bittorrent and then get an older version of the program called "hamachi"!!!!....you can go online with me and my sis...HURRY THERE ISN'T THAT MANY PEOPLE WILLING TOO!!!...and i'd clagly restart the game from the beginning so you don't miss anything :D

  • That's music is incredible. Perfect for Neverwinter Nights.

  • Incredible. Suprasses Dragon Age and Oblivion. I loved this game, and still do. Probably one of the best if not the best I've ever played, and in no part due to the soundtrack

  • please somebody know where i can download all soundtracks from all games (1 and 2) and all addons NWN....

especially i am searching music instrumental version of the song *So many things* (Sarah brightman) that played in game...PLEASE!

PS NWN is amazing game of my childhood.... really enjoyed it when i was small ^^ hope there will be 3 game soon...

  • Very nice, but not as nearly amazing as Neverwinter Nights 1 Theme

  • Comment removed

  • A beautiful sound

  • You can not compare the one with the two. The first one was like a revolution. So you think the one is better than the second but the second is very good too.

  • Thought nwn2 will sux but honestly its awsome, they couldnt do it better =P

even Compared to 1st part ^_^

  • Comment removed

  • The 2 people who disliked this failed to find the four waterdhavian creatures. God help them.

  • @JackSkeleton1337 lol i still haven't got the time to finish game XD, although i do know those creatures from nvn1, do they have it in the second one too?!

  • @chantimothy Not sure. Never played NWN2.

  • @JackSkeleton1337

Er, that's NWN1 you worthless pile of Christian dogshit.

  • @MrOpenGamer Yeah, I know. Christian? Do you really take the internet that seriously? Just because someone says God, doesn't necessarily mean it's christian. There are atheists who say god for shits and giggles, so think before you plaster a stupid comment you're probably going to regret a year later onto youtube.

  • @JackSkeleton1337 serious business on the internets

  • @JackSkeleton1337 Oi, Jack, are we still on for that ritual sacrifice tomorrow night? I've oiled the goats up and everything.

  • @TheChavsStoleMeName We sure are, mate. We sure are.

  • @JackSkeleton1337

LOL, you're just as wrong you hypocritical, religious idiot. It's nothing about saying "God" (there, I said it bitch!), it's that *someone*'s an idiot, and therefore, religious.

  • @MrOpenGamer Are you even reading my comments? "Saying god's name in vain" doesn't do shit to me because frankly, I don't believe in god. To be perfectly honest, I'm against the belief of a god. Oh, I forgot, youtubers are too uneducated to read the details. Oops!

  • @JackSkeleton1337

Firstly, I didn't take God's name in vain - just shows how fucking thick you are. Secondly, done insulting yourself? You're a fuckign youtuber too, moron.

  • @MrOpenGamer Good sir, the only one who is thick is you. Your skull must be made of bunker-grade concrete. I cannot get anything into it. Did you even have a reason to respond to my comment other than make grammatical errors and carelessly picked arguments?

  • @JackSkeleton1337

Oh, and a for the getting things into my skull bit, have you not thought that you may simply be incapable of saying something without falling flat on your face? It's fucking religious cunts like you who are completely nonsensical and think that people are incapable of comprehending something when they actually do not believe it because it is bullshit. So why don't you do the whole world a favour and jump under a fucking bus you worthless, superstitious cunt!?

  • @MrOpenGamer Let me get this straight. Are you trolling? Because no one could possibly be as stupid as you are being without trolling. You're pretty much the "Christian" in the situation because you keep going on about stuff that is fake. Are you sure you're not religious and insulting me to cover your religion up? Be honest with me now, because I'd be surprised if you weren't trolling, and you really were this stupid.

  • @JackSkeleton1337

So now you turn my own insults on me? That's almost worse than your superstitious nonsense. Religion is the worst thing that has happened to humanity, and there's no way I will follow such bullshit. Do you really think a religious person would insult their religion? You simple minded crackpot. And people troll here all the time. This is youtube, remember? I don't know what drugs you're on, but they are probably illegal ones.

  • @MrOpenGamer I'm sorry, but how is religion the worst thing to happen to humanity? It allowed learning and science to endure after the fall of Rome, and has wide ranging impacts into the modern day. For many people, it is a welcome comfort in an otherwise bleak world. Rather than just dismissing it, particularly because it can be neither proven nor disproven, accept that whatever its logical flaws, religion is an essential aspect of society.

  • @ShrougerNite

Without religion, many of the wars and terrorism which happened would not have done. Oh, and don't give me the cannot be disproven crap. Otherwise I'd have to be agnostic about the Flying Spaghetti Monster and Zeus.

  • @MrOpenGamer You really believe that, do you? It is in human nature to enter into conflict and to resolve such disagreements through violent means. If everyone happened to be an atheist, they would still fight about whether to recognize Isaac Newton or Gottfried Leibniz for the development of Calculus or something similar. Further, my point with the "cannot be disproven" argument is simply that so long as it cannot be found to be true or untrue, we should allow divergent faiths.

  • @ShrougerNite

Yes, people would always fight over things whether they're religious or not, but we hardly need another reason, do we?

  • @MrOpenGamer people will always find an excuse to fight; religion itself is the actual cause of very few wars. Rather, the concept is exploited by unscrupulous leaders (Pope Urban used the Crusades as a means to unite Europe, not to destroy the muslim faith as he had claimed). Even amongst terrorist orgnizations, religion is used to brainwash individuals; without religion, however, these same terrorists could exploit just as easily exploit nationalism. Religion itself is not responsible.

  • @ShrougerNite

There's more to religion than wars though. It causes conflict between would-be friends and domestically. It also causes the fuckers who call themselves Jehovah's Witnesses who go round knocking on doors demanding that people follow their retarded version of Christianity giving out leaflets which spew out nonsensical arguments which fall flat on their face and make out the writers to be creationistic idiots. It may not be as bad as some may think, but we could still do without it.

  • @MrOpenGamer And politics does not do any of that? Personally, I am an agnostic, but I can certainly see how religion can be essential to the mental well-being of certain individuals.

  • @ShrougerNite

But it's a false sense of well-being. Is it not better to embrace facts than what you can't prove or even relate to due to the lack of evidence?

  • @MrOpenGamer science and logic do not necessarily offer a moral code. Further, we have no idea if the "facts' we take for granted have any bearing outside of our limited understanding.

  • @ShrougerNite

Are we not intelligent enough to have our own moral code? Because the Bible isn't exactly a good way of going about it. It's full of bad messages. Even the ten commandments could be better.

  • @MrOpenGamer At the risk of sounding cynical (or perhaps just realistic), I feel that many people lack the moral compass or intellect to follow the edicts of society. However, if the moral code is shaped by a belief in a divine entity, people will follow it far more willingly, seeing the spiritual authority of religion as more compelling than any logical argument.

  • @ShrougerNite

That would be good if it weren't for the fact that people do terrible things due to bad parts of religion. Look at Islamic terrorist attacks, for instance.

  • @ShrougerNite that's just too smart for the internet

    I agree with everything

  • @francemaster perhaps you are right... either way, thank you!

  • @JackSkeleton1337

Oh, and good job with ignoring my grades. I go to a private school and am in all the top sets. Stupid people can't do that. So why don't you just whack yourself over the head with your bullshit bible?

  • @MrOpenGamer If you're a Straight-A 20-year-old man from the UK, you should really have something better to do than argue with people on the internet over a retarded disliker-related comment from 2010, considering Western Europe's good economy. I'm still surprised you're going on about me being christian. If you don't have a job, get one. If you're a straight-A student, you should be able to get a good job that can occupy your time. And, stop trying; You're running out of ideas.

  • @JackSkeleton1337 I loved that comment. He is doing the same to me. We can work together to get rid of this bitch.

  • This is just beautyful. This is just indescribable.

  • Es un juegazo, aunque las expansiones no me convencieron.

  • @Hearthless: Opino igual, quizás porque las expansiones tenían una historia un tanto más falta de pulir o demasiada tirada de los pelos.

  • Both NWN1 + NWN2 had great stories, but I think NWN2 was better in gameplay.

  • NWN 2 was a great game. IS a great game. But NWN was just so incredible, that NWN2 just wasn't good enough.. Dragon Age Origins was nice, but to NWN1.. Nothing really beats it in my opinion.. I've never got to play Baldurs Gate, and I've heard it should be fantastic, because I were about 5 years when it came out.. Is this also Jeremy Soule? He have in my opinion created the best game soundtrack I've ever heard.. And this is good too, so is it him?

  • @RischelBoy : i disagree. in nwn only HotU was normal but nwn2 OC and MOTB is much, much better. and yes, i started to play BG, BGII 3 years ago and it's the best, played it countless times with and without mods. even after DAO which was great BGII is the best <3

  • @greeniea

    I TOTALLY agree.

However I've also liked the Icewind Dale series. I would place them somewhere between BG and NWN.

  • beautiful music

  • Amazing game

  • Great song,alot of memories

  • NWN1 is much better than the second one..but this is above all a fantastic game!!

  • Neverwinter Nights 1 Theme is so much better.

  • Personally i like both games. Obsidion could have done much much worse, giving great rpg to another to develope? I think nwn 2 was decent effort, bu no means a masterpiece like BG(1-2) or DAO but i enjoyed and had good time playing it.

PS. Oh and Khelgar and Ammon Jerro; Badass duo as always, + Sand was clearly voice well too. Such a nerdy cynical wizard. XD

  • NWN 1 was a very good game. But I found the fedX missions were just so boring!

  • Obsidian is inferior to bioware. Bioware is the best video game company of all time. Baldurs Gate 2, Neverwinter nights, NWN: Hordes of the underdark, Kotor (Another game to which obsidian made an inferior sequel) Mass effect, Dragon age, Mass effect 2. Bioware is clearly the best gaming company ever! They have countless masterpieces.

  • @Wombat1010

Hey look! They're all the same genre!

Bioware make great(and I mean GREAT) RPGs, but that doesn't by any means make them the "best video game company of all time".
