Michael Kamen and the 'famous film session band', The National Philharmonic Orchestra of London, recorded this sound track at EMI Abbey Road Studio 1 in the early 1980s. I recall the music for the opening credits and also the special sound effects for the "ice hockey scene" where a spinning dummy (filled with microphones, I guess) was suspended from the ceiling to give a special effect.
I was 17 when I first heard this and it still moves me in the same way now at 43......a very beautiful score composed by a brilliant musician who will be sorely missed....
Such a great soundtrack. One of my favourites, along with Creepshow, Firestarter, Children Of The Corn, The Shining and Cat's Eye. Thanks for posting it, it's great to hear it again after all these years!
my mum and dad were going to buy a house, to keep the story short, they ask me to go to my room (my new room)to see if i like it,the sec i walked in i felt a frozen, and turned to the right and seen a dead girl, everyone was freak out, they checked the history of the house and a young girl killed herself in that room.
Great movie and fine acting, Kamen died in 1983 in London after he had an heart attack. He was as good as Gerry Goldsmith and James Horner, he also scored Die Hard..
Excellent music for a great film. Kamen was called in rather late to the film and had something like 2 weeks to compose the score. But he delivered, beautiful and haunting. A great composer he will be missed. Thank you very much for uploading!
This is creepy and it makes me chills

Great theme, it reminds me of the Jean Sibelius 2nd symphony.
