@Pes2011BAL Get the wolf to the door. That way he has an harder time jumping back. Try to stay underneath him all the time. Wear a light armor for easier dodging and try to get the darkwood grain ring. Twohand your weapon and then just slash away at his leg. When he attacks, dodge. Repeat.

you all have to realize that this was probably a previous version, and its possible they fixed the snake walking through the bridge on a patch update. If you notice when he lights a bonfire it says "the bonfire was lit" when i got the game on i think patch 1.03 it had "you lit the bonfire" this guys no fake...

I may be wrong, but before people start declaring this a fake and a hack and such (how would he hack a console game anyway?), I'm pretty sure your humanity level ie the number top left, influences the power of your attacks on enemies, hence his one-hitting so many of these guys. just don't want to see an obviously great effort get dismissed unfairly.

@shiva369 That, and an upgraded Pyromancy Flame, even if it isn't ascended, is still one hell of an over-killer on any regular enemy. And since he's using a chaos-related spell (If it's similar to Quelaag' Fury, in which it receives a slightly larger damage bonus depending on humanity((not 100% sure if humanity affects every weapon or just chaos-ascended weapons/spells)) ), the damage output's gonna be all the more crazy.

Can someone please tell me why the game is so hard if he's one shotting enemies during his speedrun? Is he using a buff or playing the game in a way that was not intended? I do know you are supposed to harvest souls as a game mechanic, but why don't the enemies just take one shot and then kick his ass? I've never played or seen the game, by the way.

@TBL4 I'm like two weeks late on this but here's the reasons why he's doing so good

1. He's using an overpowered sword called the Drake Sword.

2. His pyromancy flame is upgraded to the max because he put all his souls into upgrading it. That makes his pyromancy extremely powerful.

Essentially, yes, he's playing in a way that while not exactly unintended by the developers I don't think they quite expected anyone to play like he is.

I'll probably get shit but instead of thinking someone who bought this game and spent 1000+ hours memorizing the game, remember that every developer needs to prove their game is beatable before it goes into certification and into stores. The video was probably made by the developers to prove the game can be beat and someone found it and placed it online.

@TehJoenas Pyromancer = Easiest class and all he does is then proceed to grab the scrubby Drake Sword then kill ceaseless discharge the cheap way for a ton of souls just to upgrade his pyro flame lol. And this run as u can see by the upload date was done PRE-patch. Pyromancy was NERFED POST-patch! I give him props for the routes and techniques used to get thru areas but other than that hes playing Dark Souls easy mode - try speed running w/ a deprived no armor fist build. Man Up!

@ThouShallParry pre-patch was not "easy mode". The game was still hard, but people could cheese bosses with iron flesh and crystal ring shield. Post-patch people can still cheese them with pyromancy and some areas got MUCH easier (lost izalith)

Usually people bow and arrow it from the beginning rather than running through everything like a maniac (and not dying). Thirdly, the Japanese are two patches ahead on us, it might also be a rebalance.
