  • BTW (esp. 4 those who've come 2 this thru the 'slavery,' 'Amistad' or 'Middle Passage' tags), I have employed the extended closing refrain (@ 3:25) &, in particular, those final, transcendent, Clare-Fischer-filled 57 seconds (@ 4:12), in support of an impressionistic montage relevant 2 those concerns. In fact, the image I display repeatedly, immediately prior 2 that final 1-minute epiphany, is from a 1995 book entitled, simply, "The Middle Passage," by the late, great Tom Feelings.
