@Antweezysx -- He's not taking the focus off the preacher, he is complimenting the preacher. The people in the church is listening to the preacher, if musicians listen to the accompanying musician. This is their problem. instead of listening to the word you listen to the lciks and chops of the musician accompanyment...You can't blame the accompanyng musician because he has skill and you are focusing on him instead of the preacher. the other people in the church don't have this problem.
He plays at this father's church. I think he is the minister of music there. I have been there on Sunday Mornings and they are doing some big things at that relatively new church. His father has a community IT job training program right next to the church. God Bless you. Preacher was talking about being humble and allowing God to exalt you. Lennard is a true example of that, a real humble musician. More musicians and preachers need to adhere.
