  • If you would like support to help your baby or child sleep please contact Sleep Through Dawn.

  • co-sleeping works great for me great bonding 10 hours of sleep with 2 wakes to feed...but he doesnt cry or open his eyes...he just moves to let me know...its a great bonding experience but some babies would rather be in a crib others refuse to be in one...sleep situations are individually discovered

  • there's nothign wrong with co-sleeping, don't discourage parents to do it just because you had a bad experience with it

  • Co-slept 5months. He woke at movement/sound. Cosleeping with baby with reflux is a nightmare! Held him after feeding for 45 min; after 3 months wanted to be held allnight. Couldnt sleep well on us but wouldnt sleep another way. We did pantley dance; after week hed go in crib for 4 hrs; then wed hold him for the rest, waking every hour. At least I got 4 hours free from him. Loved him one minute; resented him the next. Dont cosleep. Babies sleep better in cribs.

  • Read the book, and my son who is 19 months is still waking up several times a night. And he's been following a routine since he was 3 months old.

  • co-sleeping not something me or my hubby wants to do. Routine or reading a book doesn't work on young babies by itself and have tryed rocking, staying in the same room, holding and cuddleing but that doesn't teach baby to fall asleep by themselves. Will let u know if pick up put down works luv Jen

  • going to try pick up put down method with my six month old, so i don't have to let him cry much. Hope it works as my first child we did the cry and extend times we try to settle him. It worked but i hated doing it.

  • My husband and I tried co sleeping for 11 months. We were going nuts. My daughter woke up everytime we moved. We finally went with the 3 day crying method and we have gotten great sleep since then and our relationship is far better.

  • I was exhausted when a friend recommended this book, within a couple of weeks both me and my daughter were getting the sleep we needed.

The way Pantley breaks things down and explains infant sleep patterns make complete sense.

  • Wonderful book that works like a dream. Many moms in my support group use it with great success.

  • wish my daughter would sleep...we co-sleep and have followed this book's advice since birth, she'll be a year old in one month and is still waking up six times a night. don't know what i am doing wrong!

  • Have you tried white noise?

  • A great book that really works!!!! How wonderful to hear the author explain some of the ideas.

  • Throughout history and in every society on the planet- infants and young children have slept near adults, without sleep/discipline issues. It is simply common sense for a parent to sleep near their infant. We need to rediscover that wisdom so we can stop the war between our biological needs, culture and responsibilties to our infants. Co-sleep to get some sleep! (And I don't want to hear excuses about sex-lives... no ones getting any when they are sleep deprived anyway!)

  • @aradiapaganus I have co slept with baby since day 1 and haven't slept longer than 3 hours in a row. he is now 18 months old. Any good tips about how to get him to stop needing the breast to fall asleep... or needing the breast 10 times a night?

  • @puhutes You could try reading the book "The No Cry Sleep Solution" featured in this video.

  • I hope that it is a good book.
