That's not even a reasonable comparison. The S4 is clearly stock and the price of the S4 when it was new isn't even near the cost of the AMG. A stage 3 S4 would have easily managed around a 12 second time.

@metallicafn there are different variables. Its not just all about hp especially at the strip. Regardless 14.14 is a slow ass time for an s4. A chipped s4 should be able to run mid-high 13's. You can see the intercooler in the sl55 in the beginning so its a kompressor. You don't think the weight of the merc affects its time? The s4 is only a 3500lb car.

@nawzy202 Regardless if it isn't stock it ran slower than what people have recorded with time slips for a completely stock B5 Audi S4, best time is 13.629, eg a decent driver can do high 13's and for a 250 hp and 3600 + lbs that's impressive for an entry level luxury sports sedan that can be had for less than $8k and be a very comfortable daily driver. At that low of a range it can easily have money sank into engine work and bigger turbos to go as fast as you want, 9 second car on stock gearbox?

@nawzy202 The B5 S4 for me personally ... getting a $600 chip brings out so much more torque it's the best bang for buck you can get. And without putting shit loads of money into it that's all I need for a daily driver that's fun to drive. Maybe one day I'll have the money to rebuild the 2.7L for some big GT28 series turbos or swap in a VR6 with a nice fat turbo but fuck man the practicality of a stock car and chip goes a long way for a person like me.

@shoh9v2 the fronts were HRE's probably about 1200 each corner if not more. The rear 2 were stock benz rims, if you noticed they had drag radials and not the low pros as in the front.(better traction for the strip)
