Know your facts, please. Megalodon isn't around because it went extinct - not because it was hunted out. Goblin sharks are from the deep ocean; they are not hunted for food, they are usually accidentally caught in fisher nets..and only about 50 or so have -ever- been caught.

Like many deep-sea animals caught like this (including the frilled shark), they tend to drift upwards when they are near death for unkown reasons.
