  • How do you know this was caused by agent orange, ? birth defects occur all over the world.

  • Christie, even though your father was obeying orders , that doesn't exempt him from being a war criminal.

  • How about simpathy for American families, how they suffered losing a father or brother. The silence is deafing. This more communist propaganda from the enemy within.

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • excuse me? what are you talking about? um i hope you realize that no all of us claim in pride what ever your saying.

  • Dmasteran, you have no comprehension of the reasons for, events or aftermath of the Vietnam war. Watch this video: "The American War: The U.S. in Vietnam," on here. In reality, and in contrast to what your government told you, you were an invading outside infuence seeking to exploit the country. North and South Vietnam was an idea created to aid the American influence and then to excuse the war by creating a country which supposedly desired US help.

  • Why the hell does the US think they should be "helping" the Vietnamese in the first place? Any Democracy that deserves to exist must defend itself.

  • Painful to watch, knowing MY country caused these horrors to people who had never harmed us. How much worse for them to live it, for generations.

Thank you for keeping the truth out there

  • Don't forget Vietcong commanders killed the eldest (sometimes village leader) to recruit people into their arms. Unique way of recruition.

  • Dmasterman

pointing out what the other side did doesnt excuse what the americans did, e.g. napalming(sp) an entire village to get at the vietcong, or, devestateing the countryside and crops to try to starve the vietnamese into submission.

Also, the 'vietcong' didnt have to recurute, after experiancing american 'civilisation' and 'protection' the vietcong had volenteers.

  • To your first point, you pretty much say "No one was right". Which I agree with you. If someone has a gun and another side has guns, no one is right. And I agree.

To the second part, Vietcong DID recruit. Sure some of them joined, but don't you think VC did things to make others join them?? Of course they did! Otherwise their wouldn't have been so many of them.

  • Veitnam will suffer until it reforms. Communnism is dead.

    Eat your little red book.

  • Agreed.

  • China/Vietnam still going strong. Still communist... You dare give me a date when they will die??? A:_________

  • 2017

    Starvation change.

    Cast off the chains.

  • thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. for making it right..love to see someone have a heart...

  • sad story. shame on the u.s.

  • shame on the u.s i think not ..... we tried to help these people and they choose to keep there scamming ways . true it is sad but no blame should be on the Americans hands. The Americans sent just not troops but many other things as well and what did they get for all they done ? Well ill thank them. Thank you U.S for tring to make our world safe>>>>

  • The US tried to take over Vietnam by gaining a foothold on 'South Vietnam'..Didn't you guys also help the French financially?

  • The US wasn't trying to take over it. If the US wanted to destroy or completly conquer a country the US can do that. Securing a country is harder.

  • Dmasterman

Still justifying the illegal Vietnam war? Old news. That case has been decided- we LOST that one- and not just morally. Why don't you move on to justify yet another illegal war-- one we are ALSO losing morally and in every other way: Iraq.

  • Wars can't be justified silly. no one is right in a war. As long as you send people with guns in it to fight there is bad on both sides. You SHOULD know that... The US didn't exactly, lose, they didn't full complete their goal. A loss would be if the country was called "The United States of Vietnam". ;D

  • Dmasterman says: A loss would be if the country was called "The United States of Vietnam".

yeah, continue your critical thinking. Now who is being "silly"? I don't see that Germany, Japan OR Italy changed their names or became part of the United States when the US won THAT war. Your "logic"( or lack thereof) is truly amazing

  • Now you're blowing it out of proportion. The US never was trying to take over Japan or Germany, however they gave very strong influence did they not you silly fool. Does not Germany and Japan live in a freedom of democracy and capitalism? Vietnam is now a socialist government, which tend to do not all that well, but thats my opinion and a record of it. So technically it was Vietnam's true loss. Lol.

  • Dmasterman

You digress. (typical of Republicans) Whether Vietnam's government is to your or my liking wasn't the discussion. It was whether the US lost the Vietnam war, which it certainly did, whether you like it or not.

  • Tom,

I'm not a Republican (thats just your assumption, and it was a very bad one). It was a goal not finished. The entire US military was NOT destroyed. Due to this, it wasn't a loss. It was a cease fire because well the Vietnamese didn't want help and a whole bunch of them got killed once North invaded. However, the US wasn't beaten back and retreated to the beaches of Vietnam NOR were ever beat back to the seas, let alone our countries. The US just couldn't help them so they left.

  • Dmasterman

It is obvious from your assertions that you have absolutely NO clear idea about the Vietnam war. I suggest you READ A FEW BOOKS, or if that's too tough, Google Kissingner, withdrawal, Vietnam, France, peace accord

  • Typo. Correct spelling is Kissinger.

  • Its obvious YOU don't know anything either. As said before, the only ones who really know what ever happened there are the US soldiers themselves. Were you there?-

  • Also, I didn't see that as a lost. But I WILL AGREE that the US should stop helping countries. The US doesn't have truly evil intentions when they aid a country that leads to war, but they will certainly most ALWAYS look like the real bad guy. The US has to stop aiding bad countries, no more giving away money or resource, if a country is attacked, we'll let them get destroyed unless it is a very valued ally. If not, we let em die I say.

  • Dmasterman

Your naiveté on the "goodness" of the US military force is truly fascinating. You bought all the BS they sold you in 4th grade, didn't you? You REALLY think a government spends trillions of dollars to "help" other countries, when they haven't yet fixed the devastation of Katrina 2 YEARS ago????? WOW!

  • Hey, billbob1992

Perfect name by the way. The US was trying to make the world safe when it went to VIETNAM???? that is HILARIOUS. were the Vietnamese attacking ANY country? Noooooo. Read a little bit, stop spending so much time with your X-box.

  • search for user pinkyshow here on YT

look at the Viet NAM episode.

don't disregard the use of cartoon characters.

that is serious historical research and the telling of hidden truth.

    Stupid idiot!

    arrogant asshole

  • Thank you for your work. Thank for showing it to the world.
