the app lends itself very well to sketching things out and inserting texturing (like using photoshop's special brushes) etc. combine that with abe's years and years of discipline and experience and you'll understand why he's able to make these sketches to look so nice, so quickly.

its a total fake, look at 3:37 to 3:38 when he goes with the finger from the top and down, he does only one move, but 2 lines are draw and they bifurcate (in the hair)

Very nice work! Just wonder if you try your talen on different platform such as Motion Computing LE1700 tablet PC. I like to draw using pen platform and just don't like the palm feedback on ipad.

It looks to me like you drew it before hand then added a solid white layer over top and used the eraser brush to erase the solid white as you went along. At first I thought okay...you could just be using a different style brush in some cases but when you look closer it looks like you're painting with two different brushes at once...( watch timecode 2:40-2:45 also 3:17-3:20) or erasing a solid white layer thats on top of the original...anyway good job lol

@jacobnwalker I bought the software and works as he shows, it seems near lines will created crosshatching, also speed makes lines to be have different, its like those cheap drawing borads with magnets and i love it.

The thing that makes it appear fake is the way it draws a thin line with shading to one side, as in the hair. But I see no reason why ABe would do a fake demonstration. It has to be real. He must be switching brushes offscreen or something. Thanks for posting. XD

Oooo. I see how it works now. I just downloaded the iPhone version for $2. When you draw two lines together, it automatically shades the space in between. Very nice!
