@TitaniumScizor Team Rocket do have motives. They capture and steal rare Pokemon to sell for money and carry out experiments on Pokemon which are considered inhumane. Giovanni wants more control, and using Team Rocket allows for him to take over the world.

That was pretty much the idea. Galactic was a cult - its members followed blindly and were misinformed. Plasma, on the other hand, was an eco-terrorist group. They were working towards a cause, which means its members had to be passionate about it.

Team Plasma has, by far the worst outfits and worst pokemon, I mean a lv 40 Patrat? I will say that they have awesome battle music, but they suck at battling, that is why they throw 3-5 at you at one point, because they are awful at it, not to say they have one special trainer among them, and that is N, Who still sucks at battling.

But, Grunts aren't meant to be good at any thing, especially Team Plasma's grunts.
