I have seen a car getting boxed in. It was driving in a slow moving queue and while it didn't move, the crossing activated. Barriers went down and the train signal turned green. Car was still stuck. Luckily the train was stopped at a platform and could see everything. It didn't move before the car queue moved, but imagine if it had been a non-stop train...
@WESTMIDLANDSGIRL2K11 First of all it was a joke, albeit a twisted one, but nobody really died. And second of all when I die it won't matter what people think. And thirdly I plan on dying in a comical way like choking on pie so people probably will think it's funny.
Surely the driver of the suburban train would have been smart enough to see that a car was trapped on the crossing, idled the throttle and put the brakes in emergency. Otherwise if in the accident he killed one of his own passengers, he could be to blame for not taking evasive action.
if i were her i would get out immediately and ran or rammed into the truck infront and beeped and flashed...or just not go on the crossing in the first place!!!
I'd have driven round the truck, off the side of the track, reverse through the gate or whatever it takes to get out of the path of the train. You simply will not survive. Looking at it again. I wouldnt have ended up stuck like that in the first place.
