@k12rising Oh well, I did read the bible and noticed that it supports slavery, witch hunting and repression of homosexuals. It also supports the idea of Jesus being a scapegoat, to whom you can shoulder your sins and reject all responsibility. I am also very sceptical about the idea, that Christians will go into rapture, and all the others will burn in hell, simply because they either don't believe in god or have the wrong religion. I've seldomly read a less moral book than The Bible.

At my church we are studying revelations right now we are going into the seals so still a while yet to go. No one knows the day nor the hour, though it is certainly very soon, I believe. I do believe the rapture is pre-trib, but again, that could be at any moment. What I am arguing is that you're setting up a date for Jesus' return, when that's been done countless times before by others who've claimed to have been told by God or someone else, and the day passes without His return. A prime example si the recent debacle of Harold Camping. You need to be careful about these types of visions that you claimed to have had.
