Well, each country got their own special forces and they are quite good at certain things compared to teh Delta Force and Devgru , but overrall I do think they top it. It also largely depends on the individual also

There are 3 "squadrons" (taken from the British SAS "squadron" (dont ask me why). The A squadron is the "Tier 1" team that is the All-mighty Delta that does the really really black stuff. "C" squdron was used in Mogadishu for example...there's a heirarchy, based on what I have no idea. What you are seeing in this video is US ARMY Rangers who aspire to be delta most of which will never be however. The only thing ABOVE Delta are CIA hit teams that work contiguously with DEVGRU, DELTA-A... No MIB.
1st SFOD is indeed the cream of the crop when it comes to Special Operations Forces. But, no SOF element has the more capabilities or a wider mission set than SF (Army Special Forces, or "Green Berets"). The other SOF do not have foreign internal defense (training foreign military forces) or unconventional warfare (leading guerrilla forces) as a primary mission. They also do not have to learn a foreign language before graduating, like SF soldiers do.

There is also a big diffence between having a ranger tab and being in 75th ranger regiment. 75th is a tier 1 force With tier one operators within in all 3 battalions. @23outlaws The only rangers are the 75th regiment and marine recon are very good at their occupation which is to remain undetected and gather intelligence. Comparing the two is ridiculous as they have different capabilities, however, I will say recon is by far more flexible as they can be inserted by air land or sea. If you need to know their history read a book.

1st Combat Applications Group (CAG) is primarily a Direct Action unit. Argue this as much as you want, but an ODA is a specific task group for certain situations. All US special operations are good at what they do, however Special Forces are the most flexible. SF can perform Unconventional Warfare, Counter-Terrorism, Direct Action, and Internal Security, but this is because there are teams in every ODA that focus on one of these tasks. DELTA operators have to be proficient in all four. CAG FTW!!

@Jmerino7 Tier 1 is not an actual unit, it is merely a term used to refer to the caliber of soldier that populates the upper echelons of the Infantry units. Any unit above or beside Delta would merely be a Task Force organized for a particular purpose that most likely consists of Delta Force Operators and Operators from similar units such as SEALS, SF, Rangers, Marine Force Recon, Airforce Controllers etc; or probably even SAS and similar allied units.

@malaymercernary SFOD rarely kick down doors. That job is usually left to Army Infantrymen and Army Combat Engineers. SFOD tend to stay low-key and work with local militia and what have you.

Navy SEAL's are DEFINITELY not the best. Delta Force, Spetsnaz, SAS. Delta is SEALs, but handpicked by the Pentagon. Never heard of Marine Force Recon. SAS is pretty much the same as Delta Force, but the US has better equipment. Spetsnaz is Russian, and they have really tough training. But, their equipment is probable the worst compared to SAS and Delta Forces.
the navy seals are more than 2000 soldiers their couldnt be the best. THe teams in your lists are good but not the best. GSG 9, France Fremdlegion, KSK, Delta Force, Green berets or Speznas are also good teams and on of them would be the best.

once you go through the sf selection/qcourse etc then theyll have an option for 1sfod-d selection, but not obviously not too many ppl can really tell you what all that includes. and i think they look towards oda teams first. ive worked with a few sf guys and theyre chill as fuck. And even the sf selection isnt as easy as it sounds. And the M4...sux. unless you get that piston system it. it likes to be clean...lol which is hard in some terrain

Actually, You don't need any undergraduate degree to try out there selection ( B.S. is Bachelors in Science by the way.), You don't need to know any languages (except English of course), You will learn to shoot so you don't have to be a perfect shooter, You don't have to hve any special skills except motivation to go through their selection process. They don't make British SAS look like a basic SWAT team. The Brittish SAS are the ones that trained (Delta) when they first came about in the 70's.
It's interesting, to get in the minimum that you have to have is a special skill in warfar is one of many things, knowledge of multiple languages, extreme endurance, perfect shooting. You also have to have a B.S. in college. They also shoot about 1,000,000 rounds for practice each year. They make British SAS look like a basic USA SWAT team.

Did you ever train with the SAS? Are you a badged member of the regiment? I mean, they're all very very good, jtf2, delta, st6, south korean SEALs, etc etc.
where did you learn that from? cause, my brother took the ASVAB about 2months ago and got the scores he needed to join Special Forces, now hes training for Delta and he doesn't have a BS and the knowledge of languages he's being taught by the military.

Comparing the two is ridiculous as they have different capabilities, however, I will say recon is by far more flexible as they can be inserted by air land or sea. 1st Combat Applications Group (CAG) is primarily a Direct Action unit. Argue this as much as you want, but an ODA is a specific task group for certain situations. All US special operations are good at what they do, however Special Forces are the most flexible. SF can perform Unconventional Warfare, Counter-Terrorism, Direct Action, and Internal Security, but this is because there are teams in every ODA that focus on one of these tasks. DELTA operators have to be proficient in all four. CAG FTW!!

Any unit above or beside Delta would merely be a Task Force organized for a particular purpose that most likely consists of Delta Force Operators and Operators from similar units such as SEALS, SF, Rangers, Marine Force Recon, Airforce Controllers etc; or probably even SAS and similar allied units.

Navy SEAL's are DEFINITELY not the best. Delta Force, Spetsnaz, SAS. Delta is SEALs, but handpicked by the Pentagon. Never heard of Marine Force Recon. SAS is pretty much the same as Delta Force, but the US has better equipment. Spetsnaz is Russian, and they have really tough training. But, their equipment is probable the worst compared to SAS and Delta Forces.

once you go through the sf selection/qcourse etc then theyll have an option for 1sfod-d selection, but not obviously not too many ppl can really tell you what all that includes. and i think they look towards oda teams first. ive worked with a few sf guys and theyre chill as fuck. And even the sf selection isnt as easy as it sounds. And the M4...sux. unless you get that piston system it. it likes to be clean...lol which is hard in some terrain

Actually, You don't need any undergraduate degree to try out there selection ( B.S. is Bachelors in Science by the way.), You don't need to know any languages (except English of course), You will learn to shoot so you don't have to be a perfect shooter, You don't have to hve any special skills except motivation to go through their selection process. They don't make British SAS look like a basic SWAT team. The Brittish SAS are the ones that trained (Delta) when they first came about in the 70's.

It's interesting, to get in the minimum that you have to have is a special skill in warfar is one of many things, knowledge of multiple languages, extreme endurance, perfect shooting. You also have to have a B.S. in college. They also shoot about 1,000,000 rounds for practice each year. They make British SAS look like a basic USA SWAT team.
