But on El Camino, Danger Mouse has created a potential hit single out of every single song. So, instead of the Keys being a cool heavy blues band, they're starting to sound like an influential, never to die rock band of the early 70's. Equal to that of Zeppelin at this point. Danger Mouse has used them to bring good music back to the Billboard top 20.

I mean, Zeppelin is this.... and nothing more. A blues band. The new face of The Yardbirds. Zeppelins lyrics are actually very similar to that of the Keys. And musically.... its riff rock. You do know what that is right? So in essence they are similar forms of music.

And of course it wasnt all Dangermouse, but he did have a hand in the actual writing of a lot of the music. Theres no need to get so fucking offensive over someone else's opinion. I mean, honestly, listen to the album. It has a quality that none of the others ever had. It was in the top 5 for like months.

I think they (Keys) got put into the alternative music catagory because they don't know where else to put them. Their music is so unique that it puts them in a catagory of it's own. These guy's have a sound that's so different from anything out there. It's pure raw talent that makes them so awesome. They so deserved the Grammy's they won and then some. Keep rockin guy's!! i've tried SO hard to get into Arcade Fire but i just don't get it.......People love to say they like them but their music is just so whack to me. The whole like 15 member band thing is just a novelty. They get on stage and just make a bunch of noise. I don't know, i tried. But the Keys, that's another story....they FUCKIN rock!
