Has anyone looked at the info for this vid. Edu. lowers fertility.. But how does education lower fertility, do you mean education lowers the likely-hood one will reproduce?

Seems counter-intuitive; education should makes one more likely to reproduce.

Than again, maybe our standards of perfection exceed the capability of prospective mates to achieve, ergo extinction of humanity by the sheer lack of interest in procreation.

Therefore, girls should remain uneducated.

if a girl gets an education, she can get a job. because she can get a job, she will choose not to have kids bc of the high opportunity cost of having them. if she has kids and has to stay at home, she won't be able to work! also, she will choose to have fewer children so she can invest more in their education. she may have 2 children and want to send them to college, rather than having 10 who cannot even finish primary school.

@kameh, I was joking about the girls shouldn't be educated bit. Might not have been funny but seriously, I made this comment over a year ago.

My original comment was about the diminishing rate of live-births. If a society doesn't have a fertility rate above replacement level then it will decline, this is already happening all over Europe.

And one last irrelevant point, it is always on the person who knows what sex is for to prevent pregnancy.
