How to load custom ringtones into iPhone with Ringtone Maker Pro app.

@zentertaindotnet I tried to assign custom ringtone to a specific contact and it won't work, the default rings instead. Tested it on alarm clock and it worked like a charm. It's cool to create ringtones but it's useless if I can't assign it to a specific contact. Or is there something that I missed? Help please.

I figured it out, cos for me it didn't work the way shown in vid. Instead of loading selected songs to desktop I went to "my documents", then "my music", then "iTunes", then "iTunes media", then "automatically add to iTunes". Go to tones in iTunes, highlight the songs then click on devices on the left where its says the mame of your iphone thats connected then click on tones (next to apps) then select the songs yourself and then click "apply" then it will sync. Then check your iPhone the way th

@ LEEVINNNN & littlefurballs, I had the same problem and just found out how to fix it. After I downloaded I went into the Sounds menu as he instructed. But I then tapped on buy more ringtones. I then backed out of that and when I went back it was there ready to go. Hope this helps.

If you don't see "ringtones" and you only see "tones" you have to do as instructed and get what youve created to your desktop. THEN, drag to tones under library on the left side of iTunes.  THEN from there, drag it to your device name. Then sync your phone. Worked for me.

It worked for me!!! I have a PC and it worked like a charm... If you don't see the ringtone or tunes folder just go to the top of your itunes and click on edit-preferences and then check mark the tunes or ringtones option. Then now you have the folder... follow the instructions and it should be fairly easy from there.

@Earllearx Make sure you are selecting sync and then check mark only selected ringtones that way it does't wipe off all of the ringtones already on the phone :)

This will give you the option to manually select which ringtones you want to add!

Just get them into a .wav file and they will be converted to the correct format (I did this with Ringtone Creator, but it failed to install them in Tones. Ringtone Maker did the trick!

I am very happy with Ringtone Maker because Ringtone Creator failed miserably. The techs at Verizon said I could not use my own custom ringtones. I have fire engines for my firefyter/paramedic son, but my wife sez sirens going off in car will result in her pulling to the curb, stopping, & THEN SHOVING ME OUT OF THE CAR & KICKING ME TO THE CURB.
