I really enjoyed this, Daniel. The music is stunningly beautiful, and creates a nice touching element to the slide show. Its obvious that you were a handsome young man back then, and quite cute as a boy. I know you must have fond memories of those years you spent in your special home, and I thank you for sharing these memories with all of us. Wisconsin and Jefferson produced a winner in you, my friend.

Thanks Dino, I did have some fond memories of those years and looking back I was a cute kid as many had told me so. I remember going back to visit the school many times and the last time in 2003 a worker, who was still there, remembers me, which then I was all gray hair. He said to me, what happen to that beautiful golden brown hair that you had. He recognized me right away by my voice, and mention too how handsome little boy I was back then. Now I just an old bearded man.

Veryt nice tribute Dan. may be a different world I grew up in but there were parts that took me back to my own childhood. I am curious what song this is playing through the video. Can you tell me???

Hi Jess, The song is call, Stairway to the sky and return to forever, both by Oman Ken of Sedona. The one I had wanted to use, call, He Reigns, by Newsboys was a copyright song and could not use it. It had more life to the song and would brought out the film better.

Dan, this was so awesome. Thanks for sharing this with us. Clearly, this has meant a lot to you over your lifetime. And now we know where you got your theatrical start. I suppose progress is inevitable but it is sad that all this will become a housing tract soon. Again, thanks.

Thanks Matt, The last time I visit St. Coletta was back in 2003 and there were already going through major changes. The cross shape chapel built in 1953, was just remodeled inside, but the basement of the church, where the gymnasium is was closed do to flooding and remained closed. Most of the playrooms & dorms were empty except for one that was used as the main corp office, which was the one that I was in. Most all the classrooms were empty. There were still groups living there but not many.

I forgot to mention that I have seen Rosemary Kennedy a lot there as a kid but did not know her as to be the sister to former President John F. Kennedy, or care what she was at the time, although I did know she was treated special. Rosemary came on campus a lot, and gone to the Saturday afternoon movies that were shown at the school's auditorium and to special church service as well. The Kennedy's build a cottage for her about a mile form the main campus and had two nurses taking care of her.
