Mike has some of the "best-of-the-net" Guitar courses available - a lot of freebies - and complete tutorials starting from beginner to advanced - check out his finger style course - I have just completed Modules 1&2 along with a couple of single tracks "Jennifer Juniper" By Donavan & Fields of Athenry, these are amazing renditions of the originals -I would whole heartedly recommend his work to anyone - Martin H - ROI
this guy knows all the big problems when you first meet your guitar, I remember it, an horrible pain on every finger, and the weird thing is that no one ever tells you that...
This man taught me how to play the guitar. He is so calm and patient, and when he teaches you, he seems to understand what a new guitar player goes through frustration wise. He's the best there is. You WILL learn to play if you follow his methodolgy. Thank you Mike! ;)
Very nice interview. It's amazing, this really describes exactly what happened to me.
I think that there are reasons that Mike listed as to why many of us give up. Sure, life gets in the way. But so doesn't one's self confidence level. I think with age you gain confidence and wisdom. And that can help too. You learn to stick with things a bit more.
Your description sounds so like my own experience, My first guitar at 14 and struggled to learn anything that sounded good but I still wanted to persevere now in my fifties and still just as passionate about the guitar and the owner of 5 acoustic and electric guitars, I have to say that ive learn more in the short time since I found your website than I did in almost 40 years...
Hey Mike, you sound like you are describing me to a tee at the start, guess there are a lot of us out there.Keep up the great work, look forward to your next lesson....Tony
Keep up the good work - you have help me greatly and I am currently only on Lesson 6 with you.
I only started a few months ago and was struggling until I found you.......I was ready to give up but you gave me the motivation that I needed to get really interested.....I can now play "Let it be - the Beatles" all be it a little slow (practice makes perfect).
Love your work Mike. How about adding some licks to your Spanish piece? I would recommend your site to anyone who wants to learn by playing rather than learning through practice. I make music as I learn from you and I'll be 68 in March! Again thank you!

There is no easier and less expensive way a person can learn how to play guitar songs than Mike Herberts' video tutorial lessons.
