So sorry you lost your Hamish. My heart aches for you & Misty. My boy Hamish ( a Yorkie) passed away Dec 2010 & the pain is unbearable. They stay with us in spirit it's just so hard not being able to touch them. Your boy was lucky to be loved & treated so well. He'll be waiting for you & in the meantime he'll be young & strong & painfree.

RIP Stachio... My friend's cat died yesterday, Stachio. He was my buddy, I haven't seen him much lately, I feel so bad about it now. I love you Stach, I'll always miss and remember you, until we meet again, bud. You were always one of my best friends.

Sorry about your kitty... My cat Carrie is only just 3 now, but my Cat Baylor died when he was just four. I can't even imagine her not being here, we've been through so much together already.

Thank you so much for your kind Comment, it is starting to get easier now, but I still miss my Hamish quite a lot, at times I wish our little furry companions could live as long as us, but it's just not meant to be :(

I just lost my cat the same way. he was acting normal til the last week so we took him to a vet and they say it was just some infection but four day later he stop moving and he was hardly breathing. I took him into ER but they say that there so nothing they can do to save him. my cat (Comet) saw me crying and he try to stand up and see what was wrong with me. even when he's in pain he was still worried about me. I miss him. Im sorry for your lost

I had a cat named Gus he was a solid black cat with a little white under his chin he was about 4 to 3 years old very smart i went to the pet store 1 day and he was the ony cat left alone by himself i felt bad and i had to get him he was so smart the smartest cat i ever had he came when i called him and i knew how to compunicate with him sometime in November he never came back home he was 1 in a million i love him and cry everytime i think of him

What a slow death this is. My Simba was diagnoised a month ago. I am searching for people who have gone threw it so I can educate myself. If you or anyone else reads this please let me know the steps you took to help the kitties feel comfortable threw this. And what other effects they had.

Oh what a beautiful boy your Hamish was. I am sorry for your loss. I can see how much he was loved. When you live together with a pet they become your friend and are a member of the family, especially when they get so old. My Muffin joined Hamish in November and I am sure that they are little stars in the sky that look down on us.

My cat died late summer this year too and was 15 or so. Miss her a lot. Sorry for your loss but we are lucky our pets lived a nice long comfy life and were loved.

Hamish was a beautiful and I feel so sorry for your loss, I know the pain as I have just lost my baby, Pebbles on the 26.08.07. They are more than just pets, Pebbles was my friend, baby and my family. Hope time will heal you pain, I am told it gets easier with time, but I have yet to feel it. Tracy
