i find it truly sad that such a talent as marriot ends up dying in some lonely bedsit it shows you sometimes having no talent at all is more apreciated im glad i got to see the best years of music 60s 70s
this song reminds of a dear friend of mine that turned me on to more then one great band, this is one of them!!!!!!!!!!! '' how does it feel to be such a freak impossiable as she hands you a bone" ballad of a thin man- bob dylan
During the presidential campaign, I happened on a news blurb regarding how P.O.'ed Frampton was because someone swiped the Obama signs from his Cincinnati yard. (Yes, Peter is a citizen.)
I have seen him in his neighborhood.A guy I was working with said "see that skinny dude,?.That's Frampton. I did not go and bother him, but I was tempted.I understand he is a very nice cat.He was on Cincinnati radio (no ,not WKRP),last yr saying people kept stealing his political signs.(He lives in a very conservative neighborhood ,but I think it was just kids having fun.
I used to say-- only half-jokingly-- that I'd like to go door-to-door and convince people what a kick ass song this is. Thanks for helping with my campaign!
Thanks for the Pie and faces music anyone who is a SF fan has to be a winner

Bought this album in cheap bin around 1985 or so, in Connecticut while in Navy. Was pleasantly surprised!! Wish I still had it! Good stuff!

Theoriginal Pie sounded like no other--the contrast between Marriott and Frampton made for the perfect band.
I LOVE this sound!
