  • Goog info! Thanx cuz i just found out how bad splenda is so i'm stopping it! I've just been using it for like a month n did some research that says it's bad :( n i wanted to find some substitutes for sugar so here i go agave nectar! Ohh what do u think about organic maple syrup!?!

  • @angie022587 Thanks so much for your comment! Here's the secret about all your sweeteners, certified organic ensures that the manufacturing process does not involve chemical processes. I don't use maple syrup much, but I love to mix it with yogurt as a topping for pancakes, waffles, etc. Let me know how you like agave nectar. It's a great sugar substitute.

  • I have the one that the brand is "Madahava" but it says 100% blue agave on top , I got the wrong one ? pleeeassseee help I'm going to die !

  • @edua028 Oh, pleeeeeesssseeee don't die! As long as the Madhava agave you bought is CERTIFIED ORGANIC, you're good. Check the label and let me know. Thanks!

  • @EcoRicoTV yes it has a stamp on the bottom that says USDA Approved Organic , but still is "blue nectar" , soooo ????

  • @edua028 You're safe and won't keep over. That stamp means the blue agave has been processed without chemicals. Good eatin'!

  • muy bien

  • @JorgeRosado2012 Gracias Jorge.

  • You are incredibly beautiful, well spoken, funny and smart. Sigh. Why can't you be the majority instead of the minority? Also, thank you for the information. I'm buying agave nectar next month for the first time, so I want to be well versed before doing so.

  • @donniedarkodevotte You are incredibly kind, generous and complimentary. Made my day! If you buy certified organic agave nectar, you're safe. Blue, white doesn't matter if it's certified organic. That way you know there are no chemicals being used in the processing. Big smile on my face.

  • @EcoRicoTV

The thought of having made your day makes my day! I was just stating flattering facts. Again, thank you for the info on agave nectar. I'll be sure to look for the organic.

  • @donniedarkodevotte Let me know what you think. If you want some luscious no cook vegan chocolate pudding which includes a little agave nectar, check out the video "Vegan Chocolate Pudding". Super simple and super yummy! Just released it for you. ¡Buen provecho!

  • It's so hard to know where your food is coming from. Did not know this, thanks.

  • @ILWABEFG If you buy your agave nectar certified organic, then you know it's not chemically processed. Enjoy!

  • FALSE!!

  • @jovie71 How so? The information I talk about is fully researched. My main point with the video is to help you understand where your agave comes from and, most importantly, how it's processed. A lot of the manufacturing of blue agave involves chemicals. Yuk. Read your labels and know what you're putting in your temple. Thanks for watching!

  • You can purchase raw and organic agave nectar at Trader Joe's. Reading labels is key!

  • @isw1214 Yes, you can and yes it is. I believe all of TJ's agave is made from blue agave. It's all about how it's processed and manufactured. Thanks for the comment!

  • Awesome Eco-Rico tip, Giselle.:)

  • yay or nay on davids tea organic agave nectar?

  • @bringdawhl Thanks for the question and sorry for the delay in responding! Re: David's tea - it says nothing about what type of agave is used to make the nectar. Thumbs up that it's organic, but no idea as to whether or not it's sourced from blue or white agave. I can't tell from the picture on the site.

  • Thanks Ana, from one expert to another!

  • Another great Eco-tip from the Expert, Giselle Achecar. Thanks for the 411. You rock!
