  • This was a great song and Spectres was a fantastic album. On the original track, was it Albert that sang the second vocal part? Fire of Unknow Origin is still my favorite BOC album but Spectres is second. Buck is one of the most under-rated guitarists. When people say "more cowbell" I just want to punch them.

  • one of my fave BOC tracks. Nice live version here! I agree a hard song to translate into the live show.

  • They sound amazing but that crowd is a bunch of assholes. "Godzilla!" STFU! what are you 12?

  • Superb version of a criminally-underrated song. Thanks for posting.

  • @cuttlefisch: Well said...

  • This track is hot. I wish someone could make an animated video of this one and numerous other B.O.C. songs. I think they need a new album and something like either cgi or animated videos mad of their old songs.

  • The 4 horsemen are here! Wake up! The end is close my friends!

  • No wonder Allen in no longer in the band....

  • Very hard song to do live!! Wow!!

  • How do you tune a guitar like that?

  • On the other end, at the base of the body. The tuning knobs are at the base of the body instead of at the end of the neck. Search "cheeseberger" guitar and see detail.

  • @sinbysin666 it has a bridge tuning system on the tremelo ~

  • Love the Yiddish bit at the beginning.

  • Haha, "head shmata" :)

  • Though I've always hated when B.O.C. had to do daylight shows, I gotta say, the afternoon July air was doing fantastic things for Buck's voice on this song. This is, perhaps, the best I have ever heard him sound live, especially with this tune. Now I've got to search to see if "Last Days of May" is out here on youtube from this show, it's the song which was going to be next, and at the top of my list for 'Cult faves.........

  • One of my Fav songs from one of my Fav bands!!

    Please play DEADLINE live!!!

  • @gwdone That would be great. I wouldn't mind hearing "Spy in the house of the night" either

  • Classic Buck.

  • Music seems to come so naturally for these guys, the two guys singing are BOC in my opinion

  • Awesome.

  • The lineup I saw at the Big Kahuna in Wilmington, Delaware 2000, I think...I was having too many beers like Alan Lanier....:) Seriously, if he was in any other band he would be the lead guitar player....

  • in their 60's and still on form! much respect!!!

  • I Gotta Check The Boys out The Next time they come around Not Bad

  • I only see four guitars...

    Oh well, great song!

  • When Joe Bouchard (original drummer) was in the band they would all pick up guitars and do a chorus line type thing....5 guitars (one was the bass)

  • Loved this as part of the "5 guitars" in the early 80's....great as an instrumental or full version!
