  • nice song wats the name of it

  • Even gay Koreans think that background music is ear poison.

  • ALL YOU DID IS CLEAN THE DISC SOMETIMES IT WORKS ON SCRATCHED DISCS BUT DOESNT SOLVE THE REAL PROBLEM THE SCRATCHES

  • i like the way you use your fingers.....

  • ...oh, and that song was god awful.

  • Just take care of your CD's people! I can't tell you how amazed i am at the amount of people who just shove them into tose cheap cd wallets and leave them in their car in the heat, sometimes not even putting them back in the sleeves. I have seen some FUCKED up cd's in my time...scratches, the metallic part chipping off, discoloration, stains....respect your property!

  • it's the fluoride in the toothpaste that is eroding the surface of the CD and reducing the scratches. That won't work with a toothpaste with no fluoride in it. You should be using a fluoride free toothpaste to brush your teeth. Search youtube for videos about how to make homemade toothpaste.

    see iaomt . com

    FluorideACTION . NET

    Mercola . com

get a toothpaste with no fluoride in it for your teeth

  • this works for white toothpase

  • Thats a sexy laptop.

  • @Tuckypoo111 Thanks! I recently sold her and bought myself the new Acer 1410 dual-core netbook :) That's been the best portable computer decision in ever!! :D :D

  • @RDKamikaze Bahhh! I have a stock $300 that has the power to run crysis at normal graphics with 20FPS.

    Toshiba satillite L355D ;)

  • @Tuckypoo111 What do you describe as "Normal Graphics"???

Because this computer would only be able to handle Low with 20+ FPS 1024x768 resolution.

  • ima try dis on meh scratched up disk : Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom

  • Your supposed to let it set for 5 minutes

  • @Windows7Help100

No that makes no dirrecernce. Its the abrasive nature of toothpaste that does the job. T-Cut works better, floowed by car polish. Always works unless the scratch is just way too deep.

  • yeah!!that is real i tried it

  • awesome this helped me get my GTA4 disk working again;p though I used a lot less toothpaste.

  • dose tjis work on games

  • @ufman123456 depends on how bad the scratch is

  • lol

  • Loose the annoying music woudl be great!

  • Work on my Xbox 360 game it had a perfect circle scratch rubbed it on left for 2-3 min, cleaned of with paper towel (i rubbed it from the center to the edge) and BAM it worked i have to wipe the disc now and then but at least i can play it!

  • tryin this with a spore cd O.0

  • It worked for me. =) u just gotta leave it on there for bout 5 mins..dont wash it off straight away & dont just keep rubbing it in.

  • Does work not as well as METAL POLISH check out my video.

  • WHat the tooth paste does is refill the scratch u could do it with any thing with same texture with toothpaste (i think)

  • song called?

  • Well I used this methord for my Eye Toy game for PS2 and it didn't work... That could be because it's a PS2 game and not a CD or a DVD though.

  • ill vouch for VaoX, ive used this method before and ill use it again

  • Actually you are all wrong, this will definitaly work. The data is not on the plastic back of the cd, it's written onto the very, very thin silver on top. and if the cd is scratched it can't properly read the data

  • does work but ruins the shit out of your cd

  • would have been a lot better without the obnoxious music. what were you thinking?

  • my friend did it like to 10 games

    says it worked

  • no it doesn't scratches reflect the laser so it reads the wrong part of the disk

  • Ok, please read up before posting that nosense. The data is stored right under the lable off the disc, the scratched part is a layer of thin plastic protection. It contains no data, So, unless the scratches are several milimeters deep, the data has not been destroyed. The disc is unreadable becouse the the scratched plastic simply does not reflect the laser properly.

  • Only really deep/thick scratches result in a loss of data. Most scratches are just on the reflective layer(no data), and they cause the laser to reflect in the wrong direction, and yes, they can be repaired.

  • you made your mistake by rubbing the cd while you rinsed it off. youre supposed to let the water do all of the work and rinse it off without rubbing it, so the toothpaste hardens and creates a substitution for the data on the disk by filling in the cracks. i hope this helps everyone viewing this video

  • does that work be honest

  • yeah i just did it

  • @ShineingSpirtePJ Sometimes

  • ahh fuckyou it gave mines more scratches...you anime fuck

  • @Barricade2117 Yes, it will scratch it, but it also buffs out the bigger scratches.

  • Leave Your CD Feeling Minty Fresh !

  • this actually worked for me

  • damn that nigga aleks98b is dumb that nigga said worser lol

  • Comment removed

  • ur so lame.

    homo.

does that make sense to you?

  • it made mine worser loser

  • no such word as worser hahaha it can be worse but NOT worser.

  • i tried this on an old ps1 game, i randomly felt like playing gran turismo 2 lol but it didnt work for me...

  • It takes a LOT of rubbing with the toothpaste. I've done it. It does work. This guy was just lazy and didn't put in the effort.

  • it depends on what kind of toothpaste, you need a fine grit toothpaste.

  • oh man it did realy work!

  • i have the circle scratch disease on my elder scrolls 4 oblivion wat is did was(im not tryin to trick you from fixing your disc) wat i did was i got the disc

then i got some baby cologne (sounds crazy but works i guess)then get some hand sanitizer then frbreeze and then put all of it on the disc then let it sit then in thers for about 10 mins not a min longer or it my dry and become a stain (as i was sayin) then whipe it off with a soft cloth and u will get some scratches off

  • didnt work for me did it on 8 cd:s they only got clean as hell but the scratches was still there!!! =(

  • damn yo gotta some shitty music :)

  • chea,healf-way thru the song i noticed it was japanise!

  • haha lol

  • does the brand of toothpaste matter?

  • i tried it on my fone to it works well its still there but it made it better you can barely see it WOOOO!!!!!

  • does it work on a phone

  • dang mine dont work my xbox still saying open tray when the game is in or unreadable

  • dam mine workd FUCK YES

  • it works! it works!

  • it works :D cool

  • dude, you only need the size of a pee of toothpaste!

  • holy shit it worked, thx alot!

  • You guys are fricken retarded. Toothpaste doesnt work for you guys because your using the wrong kind of toothpaste or just dont know how to do it. Tards...

  • I think you gotta leave it there for bout 5 minutes after you got all the toothpaste around it. Then rinse it and yeh. If it doesnt work, your Aqua Fresh is funky. Cuz my MADDEN 08 for my xbox 360 got that circular scratch all around the disc because i played with the xbox standing up. And it had a bunch of huge scratches. I left it for 5 minutes after rubbin the toothpaste and now it works perfect agian. I won fricken 42(6 FULL touchdowns) to 8. I was the Eagles vsing Colts

  • Hahhahahahhaha! I did the same to my bros GTA 4!!! I was chnaging a song on my boombox and accidently noked down my xbox and guess waht, huge circle!! lol! Ill try the tootpaste think!!

    LMAO!! xD

  • wuts da name of da song

  • Initial D - Secret Track

The other two parts are also songs from Initial D. I couldn't think of anything else off the top of my head so I made the vids with these songs :P

  • ppl dont use gel type toothpaste use acidy kind

  • Actually Toothpaste does work if u use it with peanut butter. But u have to remember not to wash it off or u would have just wasted your time. But this is just me, dont know if it will work with anyone else, i think i just got lucky.

  • don't use gel types of toothpaste but it does work w PB n ketchup too

  • read tags... lie and joke... ( i checked after i tryed my self DOESNT WORK SRYSLY DO NOT TRY!)

  • toothpaste is abrasive and will only scratch it more, its the reason that seniors don't (or shouldn't) use it for cleaning their dentures. it doesn't work, if it did for you it's cuz when you washed off the toothpaste you washed off something else that you couldn't see before, cleaning the disc so it worked again.

  • do you know what cd/dvd cleaners do? they wear away a thin layer of the plastic to become level with the scratches so they virtually are gone. maybe that's what the tooth paste is doing but in a more rough way...

  • i duno, i just tried it on a trash cd and it took out the lighter scratches but it left scratches where theyre visible when light relects off the disk. Yes toothpaste is abrasive but its like 4000+ grit

BTW the cd worked after the repair, even when i did it twice in a row.

  • u know that if u use "pearls-whitening system" you'll scrath it more.... just a tip

  • does it matter what kind of tooth paste u use

  • Colgate is best.... NO?!

  • fuck dis fake ass bitch ass nigga ass faggit shit i bomb on all yall mothafuckers u niggas cant see me or be me im west side till i die young ass nigas getin killed with your mouth open

  • shut the fuck up kiper your the reason why people hate people like you. thinking your all tough. i bet your white. haha you r white.

  • ya people also hate faggits like you you stupid cock junkie

  • i bet you a bitch wait i know your bitch OMGSLASHSUCKSCOCK fuckin curly haired bitch

  • WTF your probably the bitxh i want to kick your ass now. now that i think of it you are probably the biggest bitch on youtube

  • i used it on my call of duty game 4 my 360 and i was surprised it worked

  • i did

    and it hasnt worked

    its made it worse

  • maybe u used colgate lol

  • @bryanflfc

Don't use toothpaste. Use T-Cut, and go over it well a number of times until the scrathes have been abraded out. Then polish with standard car polish. It will work unless the scratches are too deep.

  • do you have to wait 5 min. before washing it off?

  • the 7vnth comment below me dude y would people make a vid? try flagging because he is messing peoples cd up i let u kno in a min if it works but he isnt lying neither is any1 else so sthu it works

  • gayest music ever.

  • it doesn't help, don't waste your toothpaste :S

  • it worked for me. Can somebody tell me why this works?

  • i seen in a lot of place that toothpaste is made of sand and rocks and i also seen that sandpaper work for fixing cd but you it hard to do and you have to be carefull

  • it doesent work just tried it :(

  • you did not do it right

  • worked for me ^.^

    i used this for oblivion

  • i fixed ea skate for xbox 360 with tooth paste

  • Your right man, i don't believe toothpaste ever worked for anyone, ever. It just makes it a whole lot worse, the guy who made the toothpaste thing up was an ass and is just trying to screw everyone over.

  • I never had success with toothpaste on cds either.

  • u have 2 wait 5 minutes if it doesnt work

  • the most tedious thing about fixing a cd/dvd is the buffing! That's why companies should include some sort of buffing unit to make a cd/dvd smooth and shiny after using any repair technique.

  • lol i have that same toothpaste

  • plug in the bathroom right nea the sink , thats not within the regulations

  • I think you should have dried it first.

  • worked for me :D

  • Does not work

  • well as far as i know toothpaste only cleans the cd surface it does not remove scratches and brasso only levels the scratches down so the cd can be readable by the laser

  • Thanks man! I was going to try it. But not now.

  • are you sure that it works?

cuz I have a cd with a scratch but the cd is very important for me so I don't want to make it worse

  • Well if you watch the whole thing through you'll see at the end I say that it DOES NOT work. Don't try it on your CDs, it's not worth wasting your time :)

  • cool
