  • Hgv's (Hcv's) can go up Sutton Bank, without restriction. There are warning signs lit going up to tell drivers to stay in bottom gear. Only caravans are banned.

Its a night mare going up in the wet.

  • The signs I thought said no HCV's I thought whats that?? any way I kept going toward it and then after my auto box going from 12th gear to 3rd I realised I was in the shiit. Made it up just in my Iveco Stralis 44gvt 540 with only 5 tonnes in the trailer over the 5th wheel. Never again in the wet, I was soo scared. If it said no HGV's then fair cop, I guess it means no Heavy Commercial vehicles. Idiot me has learnt my lesson on Sutton Bank

  • There are warning signs against lorries going up yet still they do it....
