@FootballOrDeath Wow, I was moody on that day. The NBA has a salary cap, as does the NFL. All but baseball does in the US. The problem is the minimum. MLS needs to have a $100,000 per player minimum in order to create a buzz from guys wanting to play here who aren't targeted by the bigger European leagues. Going after a $4mil star is great, but landing ten guys at $250,000 will do so much more. Until MLS starts winning tournaments, we will trail over a dozen leagues, including Mexico Primera.

Any team of the Second Division of the Spanish League beats to any team of the MLS. And it can be that with the time in USA they will play very well, but I believe me apart from needing many years in your country you have to change your mentality and to spend a lot of money in registering players and trainers from Europe... that if you want to improve and if not, then we will laugh every time that plays a European team with a team of the MLS.

Do you know whats really sad? When ppl knock the MLS. I mean ffs the league has been around only a decade. Most english,italian,argentine,span­ish,portugese clubs have been around for close to a century.

MLS is actually quite a good quality league, judging from what I've seen of it, and I'm not surprised that MLS players have started attracting the intrest of Premiership clubs (Dempsey, Elliot, McBride, Bochanegra, etc.). League on the rise, and Beckham's publicity will help that to no end.
