yes pxlbarrel very true. Bobbie, Felicia, Lucy and Luke all started out as bad guys and then became more human as time went along. But nowadays it seems like everybody on that show does something bad and they justify and they think we're supposed to root for the bad guys. Which is why I will not watch GH anymore. GH really hasn't been that good in almost 20 years, with a few good storylines in between and not much. There's just nothing anybody can do to get me to watch again, only the classics
So really Alan's only killed one man: Ray Conway. Magazines I've read have said that he killed Victor too. I wonder how I missed all that coz I watched on a daily basis back then. Alan's done a lot of bad things on that show that should've gotten him in trouble but since he's also been a caring person and has been hurt like everyone else, he's pretty likable. Such a shame GH had to kill off another great. ATWT looks like it's gonna get some high ratings grabbing all GH's greats!
Right. Despite Alan's violent tendancies, he only killed Ray and that was by accident. Alan was a classic CLASSIC GH character. Bad but then reformed so that he became respected and likable. He went from dropping a roof on his wife and her lover to standing by her while she battled breast cancer. If you look at GH's history, you'll see a lot of "reformed" characters...that is until you get to the last decade. The characters are now just criminal and never reform.
Lila conversed with Edward's portrait when he was believed dead for a couple years. she turned to his pic druing the family's times of trouble. Kinda like the ghost of Alan taunting Tracy. By the way, refresh my mind as to how Alan ever got off scot free for Victor Jerome's murder.
Well, Alan never actually killed Victor Jerome. He wasn't even murdered. Victor swallowed or rather choked on a necklace after Lucy was repulsed by his advances. This was a the Q boat house so Lucy ran to get help and found Alan. Alan just helped Lucy dispose of the body.
Alan was having an affair with Lucy. Lucy arranged for the affair to become huge news (with photos!) in Port Charles. A humiliated and very angry Monica went to Mexico for a quickie divorce despite Alan's pleading that she not go. (She got Alan kicked off the plane by telling the flight attendant he was a terrorist.)
Actually, at this point of time, nobody was playing Edward....you heard his voice (David Lewis' voice) but that's about it. He returned in a year or two. Edward is supposed to be dead.
Edward is dead. Well, everybody thinks he's dead. His plane went down in the Bermuda Triangle and he was presumed dead. He returns in a couple of years and we find out he's been hiding out in the Caribbean to protect the family from the cartel that caused his plane crash. The cartel (Harlan Barrett, Leopold Taub and Cesar Faison) wanted Edward to join them but he refused. In that storyline, Anna finds Edward and brings him home.
Doesn't ELQ stand for Edward and Lila Quatermaine? What exactly is the business? GH had several companies that started with initials: L&B: Lois and Brenda, What are the other companies that had Sonny and Ned involved and the music company with Miguel?
Well untill I think about the 70's the town of Port Charles was actualy never mentioned it was just a given that the show was located somwhere in New York. So that's why they named it General Hospital,
Well GH was suppose to be about the hospital, doctors and nurses but Steve, Jessy, Alan, Dr. Rick Weber, Dr. Jeff Weber, Amy are gone or dead in real life. Now they should call the show "Sonny, Jason and the Mob"
Monica checking into the PC Hotel the same evening that the "Quartermaine (Alan & Lucy) Wedding Reception" was there was weird. The only hotel in Port Charles?!!
I think it was the only hotel of that stature. When it burned down, they replaced it with the Metro Court... which now also seems to be the only hotel in town. Didn't it seem like if you didn't stat at the PC Hotel, you were renting rooms at Kellys. LOL
my sister thinks i am a wuss for watching soaps.

ELQ is a conglomerate of various businesses from what I can tell. They own canneries and other things... It's rather vague.
