  • I can't actually work out if it's anywhere near 405lbs! From what i can work out, there are 2 45lb discs and 2 15lb discs on each side, together with the bar that weighs 265lbs, which means the 2 discs in the middle would have to weigh 35lbs each, which doesn't look like it does. Not saying this is a particularly big weight though, anyone who trains deadlift properly can easily get to this weight well within a year of training.

  • hes using those stupid thick ass 45 pound plates that makes it look like hes deadlifting over 800. 405 is childs play ive got that for 15 on a bad day

  • @LlamaBomb3244 then post it for a vid response ass hole, id love to see your skinny arms snap off

  • ignore the trolls, there is always some jerk who is either on something, was already working out for years, or who doesn't work out, who likes to make some stupid comment. I saw a comment about a guy doing curls, where the commenter said "If I was in as good of shape, I could curl much more than that". I said, if is like someday, neither ever comes because, such words are noncommittal" Its like someone planning what they will do, when they someday when the Lottery, lol.

  • Actions speak louder than words, so folks who have crap to say about another user's workout vids need to put up by posting their own vid, or they need to shut up. No one knows to what degree someone worked out before they shot a video, what their stats are, or how long they have been training, unless this info is posted, so unless you know everything about someone, keep it to yourselves. These trolls are just that, & I have seen them tear someone apart for bad form, but without giving advice.

  • I mean, rather than rip into someone for bad form, calling them all sorts of obscenities, why not give constructive criticism, tell them your good & bad experiences concerning form, breathing, etc, so the person can improve. Folks who think anyone can deadlift 400lbs after a year of training are full of it. Some 5'6" 130lb guy who doesn't workout will not be able to deadlift that much that quickly, without roids.

  • @LlamaBomb3244 where are your videos to back that up? talk is cheap.

  • im not jelly yet, ive been doing deadlift for 2 months now and i just pulled 170kg and i only just turned 19. put props to this guys nice form and good weight

  • holy shit i'm mirin i'm jelly

  • Not sure about the shrug. Nice to see someone working hard with good technique though. GONNA FLY NOW!!!

  • AWESOME VIDEO MAN

    congratulations to you......

  • I'd like to try out deadlifting with bumper plates. I don't lift anywhere near this much, but I'd like to see if the bottom impact is a little less jarring with these plates.

  • not sure if i believe it... :29 shows 15 pounders

  • @gh4pwner The thinner plates on the outside are 15 lbs. He's got 4 thicker ones on the inside near the collar. Didn't get time to do the maths but they could be either 45 or 55 lbs.

  • one word "BROCKY" !

  • not even 200kg

  • beast

  • no safty belt?? OMG

  • Unbelievable! My back hurts just from looking at the vid!

  • Damn. you are very strong. Are you the same guy who looks like Christopher Reeve

  • congrats man.
