Like I said Lilou has been here before and I think he knows what works and doesn't work. He is great at playing the crowd and giving the judges what they need in a battle against someone like Thesis. Apparently the judges were looking for more than what Thesis was offering.

...but if you want to talk about Lilou's tops in this particular battle? They sucked, first round he didn't do anything and the second round he did like two seconds of stationary pseudo-popping movements, which looked stupid, then stopped abruptly with no seamless transition into his set. It's funny how no seems to care about nor notice these things. Lilou has always been rather sloppy, it's not uncommon for him to botch mvoes, but because he's flamboyant enough, people overlook his flaws.

B-boys have long been eschewing the dancing aspect in favor of crowd pleasing moves, using tops as filler before going into their floor work. It's not often that you get someone that really puts forth the effort to create tops that aren't by-the-books.

I don't expect most of the people on here to be looking at transitions or paying attention to how well the song is being dissected - otherwise they'd know how superior Thesis' musicality is. So yeah, keep using "charisma" as a deciding factor.

I honestly yhtink lilou rightfully won. Whenever thesis went up he did some crazy shit but is was happening so fast there was no time to apressiate individual moves. he shouldve slowed down and emphasized some of the moves. In that way, i felt like thesis wasnt soulful, but very rehersed and precise, lilou's performance made me feel the battle and his energy. Lilou won by a longshot in my oppinion
