  • The Oil companies are trying their best to stop free energy ideas from spreading to common ppl.

We need to put an end to this corruption ,start generating your own electricity now.

Visit LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM and get the blueprints . Join the Revolution!!

  • I think when there is no force involved to "be green", or, "go green", environazis are not interested, or turned on. Their solutions all involve "force", on purpose. I don't think it's about "whats better for us all", but rather, I think, for the envirowhacks, it's about "whats good for you". You wanna be a capitalist resource raper or capitalist consumerist? Take this!, and then they pass capntrade or empower the EPA. Al Gore is speacial though, he owns ocean front prop. he wants 2 draw checks

  • the enviros have taken down a wicked curving hole

  • riding the rathole for the almighty buck!!! what a pitiful state we find ourselves in. the more the greed the less the freed

  • @whokoulditbe totally agreed

  • Another great Vlog post

  • I finally subscribed

  • mui Importante' points voodoopolitics

  • I like that 'the green rathole'

  • Your videos always make me think

  • that is the way to go. use green for the right purpose. and yes. when it comes to the government, it is always about money. when it comes to the environmentalists, it is about one specific things

  • @rickybarnes84 ditto

  • staying above the rat hole is hard these days

  • i have always cracked up about the grocery bag issue.

  • The Green Rat Hole! Kudos, great perspective

  • Great insight.

  • the problem with so many of these groups is they look through those horse blinds - they dont see the big picture

  • make videos

  • and we do keep getting taking down the rat hole

  • did you use the knife to cut open the peanut shells? lol

  • Your videos are very insightful

  • lol the peanut gallery

  • A+ Thoughts man

  • ur videos r so enlightening.

  • i think it is time for all of us to consider more of our earth and the future for our children. we can get in trouble by putting ourselves in a hole but there are real solutions out there for us.

  • you really know how 2 put things int2 perspective

  • using real peanuts for packing::::) brilliant

  • Another win voodoopolitics

  • i have retrofitted my entire house with solar energy

  • keeping it real voodoopolitics

  • i think he should use dollar bill's next time he sends you something, pack it all tight with cash!!! thats REALLY "going green" lol

  • keep em coming. i subd

  • this is making me hungry

  • I think we should all go green

  • seriously good Vlog bro

  • if we dont all join the peanut gallery, there might now be much of a world left - but you make some good points about 'smart green' plans

  • 5 stars voodoopolitics

  • peanuts as green life. love it - double use.

  • @prtyprtyprty better than using the styro peanuts for packing - then you get 2 eat them

  • well. i think we need water energy, wind energy and solar energy. everything else needs to go.

  • I really love the voodoo politics Blog

  • nice vid voodo what i think they should do is put hydro plants by water its the most efficient alternative energy and where they cant put hydro throw in nuke or wind i mean there is as much uranium on the earth as there is tin. but wouldn't it be nice if they actually took action instead of sitting on their asses all day counting our money?

  • sweet knife. i want 1

  • Once again you are right on. It's like listening to myself. People are soooo dumb they are lead like sheep. The media backs up these lefties and the public eats it up. The oil spill that has changed our life forever is on the environmentalists too. They made the oil companies drill that far out where a leak is almost impossible to stop. Thanks great stuff!

  • It's time we fix this peanut gallery

  • it is definitely about the money no doubt. it always is

  • thumbs up on the green rat hole

  • Mr. Gore is setting himself to make a lot of money on the new green world.

  • I know you asked what we thought about the topic, but all I can think right now is that I want to go buy some peanuts.

  • Trees renewable, Plastic (AKA Oil or petroleum products) also renewable, but much much longer to create. The Forest service has wasted millions if not billions on "controlled burns" to burn dead fall and blow downs, when the dead fall and blow downs could have been used by folks for fire wood and For Free and no cost to Tax Payers if the silly bastards would just advertise the availability of the wood and directions to the property where the wood needs to be removed.

  • You hit the nail on the head when you said "personaly, I think its about the money". The Political class has learned the easiest was to more power is to ensure the people are afraid of something. So the government is always looking for the next big scare. The enviromentalist have learned the best way to make money is from government grants and subsities, and they can provide an endless supply of doom and gloom for the government.

  • it really is hard to determine what is really green in the long run but were getting better at it

  • @conniescandy I think we have to come up with REAL solutions rather than just thinking of the small picture

  • i so want to go solar with my house. i am kind of annoyed though with my electric company. many electric companies provide a credit when ur tied into the grid and u generate more energy than u use. my local company just steals my energy. corporations need to do their part 2

  • Sorry in advance for the long winded response. This conversation was very interesting and thought provoking.

I think there is a difference between “Green” and being environmentally responsible. The tax from the carbon cap and trade legislation is nothing more than a power and financial power scheme aimed at redistribution using the “crisis” of “global warming” which is nothing more than a fabricated hoax.

  • Paper and wood fiber products are a renewable resource and recyclable. It is unfortunate that forestry and wood fiber production is essentially shackled due to the environmentalists and politicians. This has little to do with the environment and everything to do with money, influence and special interests.

  • Solar is not as “green and clean” as most folks think. The very manufacturing of solar panels uses dangerous chemicals and produces unacceptable levels of pollution. This manufacturing is done off shore, so not really “visible” to the good U.S. citizen concerned with “chemicals and pollution”.

  • All they see is the panels on the roof providing “clean” power to a bank of batteries. How do we manufacture the batteries, copper wire, metal housings and computer circuitry for solar power? Energy and processes from coal and petrochemicals. The same concept holds true for wind power. Wind generator blades are made of either fiberglass (petrochemicals) or aluminum which requires coal and petrochemicals to mine, smelt and forge.

  • Big circular arguments for sure. Somewhere we (we the people . . . not government or special interests) need to find a responsible balance.

Subsidies and entitlements . . . well, that is for another day. I would need a lot of room for that discussion!

We need to climb out of the rat hole, take a breath of fresh air and act responsibly as individuals.

Keep up the good work my friend!

  • MBV – As always, a very interesting topic and discussion. Before I get on my response, let me say that Jeff (CultleryLover) rocks . . . absolutely one of the best on YouTube. I put him in the same category as you: solid, honest and down-to-earth. I also dig that Buck folder. I have had the same one for 25 years and other than some character marks it looks brand new!

  • Crud! I forgot to mention: I was sorely disapointed when I heard nothing of Jimmy Carter with all that on the table.

  • I live in Boulder City,Nv. soon to be if not already the solar power capitol of the world. I watched our City mgr. speak of "reliable,projectable...income" refering to payments to the city for land leases, etc. The newspaper yesterday had an artical titled "CITY HALL AWAITNG PAYMENT FROM SOLBIO" (1 of the largest solor companies) so hurry up Obama, give Ried the $ he's bragging about on ads so we can get paid through Solbio's subsidies. Talk to me about how it REALLY is anyone? HA! cont..

  • @mywillpower1 Many moons ago I worked at the local garbage co. all I can say is someone will eventually audit the recycling programs and WOW that will be good!

Attn treehugers: My h1 is green (thinking of painting it though) If you believe in subsidation for the enviroment pay me $1.00 and I will put a can in the blue box for you. Another $1.00 and in can go some newspaper. Subsides me $80,000 and you can have my h1 to remove it's polution from road. So put up or shut up Al Gore-ans.

  • @mywillpower1 Last but certianly not least, hell should have been first: MBV thanks & $ . Hey can you guess what the main supply of power is for all of Nevada. Yup soft black baby diamonds. Hey maybe that is why they don't like coal power, your aborting diamond fetus without doing research on the stemcell!

  • hit the nail on the head with this one

  • They also have packing peanuts made out cornstarch (I think Jeff showed them in one of his videos)

  • A+ posts voodoopolitics1

  • lol the peanut gallery

  • You can try those cornstarch peanuts as well. Look like them regular ones, but you can eat em and are 100% biodegradable. I think you can use them for cooking. Still, real peanuts are tastier. Harris Teeter around here uses paper bags. Also, around that time, Bottled Water was the "Green" thing for some reason. Now you got the same issue as the bags. It's not the consciousness towards the environmental impact that's the issue, it's the way it's manipulated that is the problem.

  • I can't stand to hear the crunching and smacking dude. sorry. couldn't watch.

  • @orcaluv It's all good man... :)

  • yep your right about those packing peanuts they are absolutly god awfull for the enviroment.

  • I remember my mom using pop corn as packing material to send stuff to my step dad who was in vietnam at the time. I guess you could call snacking material lol

  • You hit the nail on the head, tax payers subsidize most of the “green” businesses. Subsidized green businesses are in it for the governments green, as in green backs. Plus the consumers have to pay more for crap. How about those electric cars? You have to have a special outlet installed to charge it. The fallacy they sell is that we already have electric at our homes. Truth? BUNK! The electric company has to burn more resources to make more electric to charge those cars. More coal being burnt.

  • @watrocket You are right. We subsidize China with our debt and they lead the world in solar production.

  • @watrocket Not really! We can always default and pulverize them.

  • @2000HocusPocus They build a new coal burning power plant a week! They also lead the world in pollution so what’s your point???

  • @rlhunter1 Google: China Sunergy 2Q Profit Soars As Demand Rebounds

"The solar industry is expected to benefit from rising demand in the U.S. and abroad, as falling solar-panel prices and clean-energy requirements generated greater interest. Earlier this week, GT Solar International Inc. (SOLR) and Evergreen Solar Inc. (ESLR) posted better-than-expected results in the latest quarter as revenue improved."

We live in a dynamic world today and, unfortunately, no longer set the agenda.

  • @2000HocusPocus Key words> Expected 2 benefit... Requirements... Better-than-Expected... Improved... Got 2 love Wall Street!! LOL!! RAT HOLE! :)

  • @MadBadVoodo Wall Street - Designed to extract as much money from as many as possible. Since 1980, how many financial/economic crashes have there been? And, of course, (R) were at the helm for 20 of the 28 years. The only period of economic stability and declining deficits/debt was 1992-2000. Thanks Bill.

  • @watrocket You are spot on my friend!

  • I believe most ppl will do the right thing, if they're informed. Company's, on the other hand, will never do the right thing when it come to safety or for the enviroment untill there is no other option then they'll poke their chest out and scream how great they are for doing it. So peanuts and cap and tax is not a good comparison. Paper vs plastic - I believe we need to be good stewards of our planet, so both bags have impacts, what is the right thing to do?? Im not a lefty or a righty on these.

  • I like the message in this video, and I truly agree with your point. But the dang noise of munching on peanuts drives me nuts lol...Partly cause I want some damn peanuts!

  • Lefties are always saying we need to be more like the "oh so sophisticated and nuanced" French. Well, for over 50 years they've gotten 80% of their power from nuclear plants. Isn't that a start?

  • The missus and I recycle and use cloth shopping bags, not out of ideology so much because my mom taught me that it's a shame to waste. I still get some plastic grocery bags when I need some to line small wastebaskets (instead of buying 'em). But it's my own choice, because it's sensible, and not because I'm afraid the world is about to end. I still think that there is a bonanza of almost pure raw materials in old garbage dumps, for the ones to "mine" it. =^[.]^=

  • I think we should have solar panels on the tops of houses like the Germans. Just use it to heat the water or something. When I lived in Germany thats what we did.

  • The only way to please everyone is to kill oneself. Even then you will be dirtying up the planet with your corpse. Plastic bags are SO bad for the environment. Peanuts on the other hand are wonderful. They work for packing, and then you eat them. No birds will die, and the landfills have more room in them. No half-life with peanuts. Given the choice, most intelligent people will do the right thing.

  • You might want to get a long-wavelength UV light and check for aflatoxin in those peanuts? It's bad voodoo.

  • You can use those other peanuts to make a cheap napon...assuming you have a need for napon, lol. You can also use them for other things, but I still like the real peanuts for packing, as long as the person getting it is not allergic, lol. Everyone keep that in mind if you want to use them. Make sure the reciever is not allergic.

  • Excellent illustration and evaluation of Jeff's choice of peanuts.

  • I laugh every time the news shows how much progress scientists have made by turning algae into fuel! Even if it works, decades will pass before it can be on the market. Watching you eat peanuts made me thirsty Richard! Lol! Thanks for the vid!

  • Very Kool Of Jeff . I'm all for progress . But you can't do it overnight . All the new tech stuff is great .But you have to have the systems well in place and tested before you can change . It will still take decades to it . Thats the reality of it .

  • There made of polystyrene the packing peanuts and I think that the government at nuts controlled by other nuts and the thing that we the public are the one that are nuts for following something they told us was once right but now wrong like where the bad nut in the bag lol .

  • AIDS was going to kill us all back in the 80's. Responsible scientists who said AIDS would remain the disease of the high-risk fringe were attacked and ridiculed. Those same LIBERAL ACTIVIST-SCARE TACTICS are being used today with "CLIMATE CHANGE" to take away our rights and force a SOCIALIST AGENDA. Don't fall for it...

  • "nobody had to force jeff" only a fool would bet on the altruism of uneducated apathetic ppl.

  • when are you gonna start bitchin bout corn subsides?

at least cook w the peanuts and use them as the carb in the dish...peanut chicken? something thai or indian? a salad?

  • sucks if you were allergic anf you open a box full of penuts and it kills you, that would suck, but i like when they use recycled packing paper, that way i can reuse it or just toss it in the black paper bin

  • the long term overall costs of cars so overshadow tax payer financed green jobs that you should quit bitchin bout their fuckin startup money. and wheres some linx bout this subsidized and tax payer funded green job shit?

all the dealths from cars & the birth defects from their production, $ to build nat'l smooth highways...yeahs cars didnt cost shit.

we used to have an impressive rail car system in this country.

  • those fords....cheaper and reliable? (reliable fords huh? you really wanna defend that statement? we could have such fun w that! and is that why you own a dodge and a chevy? uh huh)

cheaper in the long run..the car...ffs man youre high. cars have cause nothing but damage. pollution involved w every single aspect of production. dirty money. bad structure for the economy. and then theres the cost of the oil and gas. how much has irag and afghan cost (the) US so far?

  • the % of $ spent on alt energy vs conventional is ridiculously skewed. it doesnt get anywhere b/c it cant. but its cool, other countries are bout to punk the SHIT out of us. check out the wave project in cornish bay UK. china is also bout to start reaping benefits of alt energy. the us will be embarrassed.

when the hell to "righties" admit fault? lol when testifying b4 congress?

was that ford really cheapest in the long run when you consider everything affected from health costs, cleanup

  • b/c most americans are stupid sheep who dont care. its how we got this fucked up to begin with.

oh boy, partisan adversary fun. quit blaming dems. blame ppl. (ftr environ's and dem's not necessarily same thing, not good to use those words interchangeably)

btw, those peanuts are just carbs and fat. you may as well be eating doritos.

    i got ur buggy whip.

  • they also make "peanuts" or packing material out of corn starch and they are water soluble and not an issue.

as for the GREEN thing..I'm not a fan. the ear has survived us as the ants walking on the surface of the beach ball and we CANT fix it or ruin it to any great degree.

    seeya

    Dude

P.S. arrogance in government is fixed by limitations in FUNDS AVAILIABLE!!

  • I would have eat the peanuts and packed your gift in the shells. I would guess that the peanuts cost more than the normal packing material. I had received a package that came with pop corn as packing material.

  • great vid!! The left has always and will always mask their agenda under a vail of greatness and this is a perfect example. When you peel away the layers of "good doing" you find a power hungry group committed to getting their way at all costs.

  • You ate too many peanuts.

  • If you take gasoline and mix in Styrofoam peanuts together in the right proportions, you get a thick gooey viscous "Poor Mans Napalm" great for cocktails.

  • How much did it cost to send those packages across country by UPS versus the "carbon footprint" costs? Exxon/Mobil is in favor of a carbon tax. Go figure? Change the title to "The Green Mile." "We each owe a death - there are no exceptions - but, oh God, sometimes the Green Mile seems so long." -- Old Paul Edgecomb.

  • there made on of polistiren the packing peanuts

  • they pass trade laws so they shuffle cards behind the scene

  • It's like sick care in this country. When people are healthy, they don't make the right choices and save for the day when intervention may be needed to try and help mother nature help themselves. The heath care system makes money off of the sick and desperate. With non-renewable energy, we don't conserve and prepare for the day when fossil fuels will disappear or we disappear because of the Toxic America that has been created. You forgot about tetraethyl lead in gasoline and the EPA.

  • Or he just thought it would be funny............

  • Coal mining can result in a number of adverse effects on the environment. Surface mining of coal completely eliminates existing vegetation, destroys the genetic soil profile, displaces or destroys wildlife and habitat, degrades air quality, alters current land. During actual mining operations, methane, a known greenhouse gas, may be released into the air. Do you think greenhouse gas is something made up? Should we try to find alternatives to processes we know are destructive? I think so.

  • i agree, cap and trade is bs meant to make rich people richer by selling fake "carbon credits". nevermind the fact that the earth has had historical periods with much higher levels of co2 in the atmosphere, generally accompanied by rampant plant growth and proliferation of the animals that eat them. not that i think people should just say "screw the environment" and dump waste oil in their backyards and burn tires, but the co2 stuff is manufactured bullshit.

  • @27dcx Al gore either owns or is a major investor in one of these carbon trading companies. anyone see a little conflict of interest there?

  • My family is from Arkansas, so I am all for killing trees! TRUE envirnmentalists want paper, and wood products. And like CO2. and want modernization and progress.

Fake environmentalists and closet socialists want less wood products, less CO2 and want us in a pre-industrial economic state.

Solar would be good, IF it had a better ROI. When it costs $3k to save $30 a month that is not going to work. To satisfy the next 20 years we need 40 quad reactor nuclear plant starts today.

  • The company I work for pays an extra charge to get our power from windmills! Crackes me up because it all comes from the same grid anyways! The windmills are like 30 miles from us. All in the name of claiming green!

  • Phew, at first I thought you were going to feeding Mark Whalberg's cock.

Your video has actually motivated me to burn a tire whilst clubbing a baby seal.

  • Politicians want to be able to take credit for good things, but never accept responsibility for bad things.

  • On the bag issue, don't for get the "Reusable Green Bags" you know the ones made to be brought back to the store and reused. The problem there is companies are just using this fad as a way to sell their logo or brand on their "green bags" Honestly I feel better about using the paper bags at the store that are made from recycled paper anyways. I then use them at home as recycling bags/bins for under the sink and desk. I then just throw the full bags right in the curbside container.

  • They also make the packing peanuts out of rice, like the ones that USNERDOC used. You can actually eat them, I've done it. They taste like rice paper. The best part is you can just dump them down the drain or toilet.

  • traditional power generation can be replaced by alternative sources ie.,. solar and wind right now. The current b.s. economy of costs, or rather over pricing is the b.s. reason it hasn't been. Solar is 10% as efficient now on the market as is the reality of the technology. It is kept low to keep it un affordable in mass on purpose. The big 3 energy companies keep the monopoly strong thru their bought puppets in the government.

  • @KingRyltar Ummm Ummm Nevermind... :)

  • I generally agree with you, but you are wrong about subsidies. Fossil fuels receive about $75 billion through various tax credits and government programs while green energy sources only receive about $20 billion. Fossil fuels are a much larger business though so one would expect the total to be larger. It turns out that on a percentage basis they are pretty even.

You are right though that we ought to throw out all the subsidies and allow the consumer to decide what make the most sense to them.

  • @sickwookie I will do a video 4 you in a day or two explaining how you have been mislead by the Green Nuts over the subsidies thing...

  • @VoodooPolitics1 my father sells platic by the ton he sells 10s of thousands of metric tons each year....547 MT went to Manaus alone

  • @MBV thats a great idea on how to package gifts and such !!!!! I hate how we are projected to be green people when we the world are not educated on proven this new power energy will react with us the world people !!!! I do believe wind and solar power has its place in society we just need to get on board and deal with new ways to live our lives without wasting money !!!!! Great vid brother !!!

  • I just dig you, Voodoo. Way to go,Jeff.

  • I pay my county taxes when they come pick up trash (which I pay for) they will fine me if they find a bottle in the trash and not in the recycle bin. That's crazy.

  • I honestly think that all those people who think wind and solar can replace existing power supplies have probably smoked to much green stuff!

  • I was waiting for a point to argue... Didn't hear one. 5 stars!

  • Just great......

  • I like that. Welcome to the peanut Gallery. Jeff is pretty smart. A lot of these people in high positions have no common sense. But we can build our houses in such a way that they are cheaper. Just like using rain water. They are ways to build solar panels. I don't know how good they do on the small scale. But we could just as well if we wanted to a different design of house. But we don't want it. We don't choose it. I like your point. Nice video!

  • smart one that one is, although I do enjoying making statues out of the corn starch peanuts.

  • As always MBV, great video. I'm no tree-hugger by any stretch of the imagination; however, I think what Jeff did is a pretty damn good idea. (Are Al Gore and Maxine Waters going to push legislation to tax our "styrofoam peanut" footprint? Maybe start trading styrofoam peanut credits?) I agree with you Rich, Americans will do the right thing without having ridiculous laws shoved down our throats. Even us non tree-huggers use the recycling bins. Your example of paper vs. plastic bags sums it up.

  • First Comment, Great stuff Rich.
