This is such an amazing video. From the first gold on home soil to the last, Canada bonded and united as one. Not only were these gold medals won by the athletes, but they were won by Canada as well. I will never forget these Olympics.

I love Canada and am proud to be here. When I watched this video, I was almost put to tears and it gave me the biggest chills. Smiles were spread across Canada, cheers heard across the world from one incredible nation when these events happened.

And that first gold medal from the last goal was something that for anybody who witnessed this will always be in our Canadian hearts.

I was living in England during the olympics and heard so much criticism about Canada's pride...as if Canadians were not allowed to be proud of their athletes and their people. Well, I told people Canadians had just as much right to be proud of our achievements as any other nation. We live in a pretty big shadow, being so closely linked to the USA, but I think that has made us stronger as a nation. Congratulations Canada! I am so proud to be a Canadian!!
