@breakbomb1, I guess you've never been to a show that has been recorded for TV. They have several mics aimed at the audience to record the noise from them. That audio is used to maintain that live feeling, because if it's live and you can't hear anything from the audience, it sort of flattens the feeling.

Try checking out the stuff Metallica has recorded from Russia. No noise can be heard from the 500 000 plus audience. That makes it sound and feel like... well, like there's nothing going on.
