At some point in time, I believe while watching the VCD with commentary on, I remember him stating that he was super-stoked to play at a high school because he had always dreamed/fantasized about playing at his own high school when he was younger. Thus, his actions are probably most resultant of that, not drug use. However, it could also be a combination of the two, only Brian Bell knows for sure.

So Weezer had performed in Portland the previous day, drove up, set up shop in the cafiteria, and did a show at lunch time. They replayed the concert on the station later that night, and I just got a copy of the tape to hear me and my friends singing along in the background. It is a great memory.
