You're late. Akai Kitana came out in May and it wasn't region-free and as of now, CAVE has no plans to release anything else shmup-related, region-free or not, for the 360. Rising Star did release DDP Fukkatsu in Europe recently.

@ImTheHaloGod Did you try the Black Label mode? It's a little easier, but the "True Last boss" is possible to fight in Training mode. ( difficulty on "God mode", do a bomb spam on the last boss. and here you go. ) This mode is way more fun ( more ennemy, way more point.. )

@SarkenHS yeah i think i must of cos ive tried every mode and difficulty on it lol though i can only clear it on easy haha and thats how i beat the boss lol i bomb spammed, i tried in training mode with 9 lives to fight with no bombs but the health goes down too slow haha though im not giving up lol

@ImTheHaloGod I was only able to 1cc the Original mode, and the original mode of black label. The maniac mode is just too hard for me. T_T" But the true last boss is a total joke... i'm able to kill her with 0 live and bomb, and her last attack got a really good safe point

@ryanc519 Only these NTSC/J releases support other regions: Mushihimesame Futari (Cave), Espgaluge II (Cave), Mushi Mushi Pork & Sugar Sweets (Cave) and Virtual-On Force (Sega). MMP&SS comes out the end of this month, they announced it would be regionfree a couple months back.

Only the first game is available for the ps2, but Mushi Futari is X360 only.

nah, i bought a Japanese-PS2 but i refuse to shell out for a 360 cause they do region-free games! so i shouldn't have to buy two consoles. can't afford it anyway, plus i have no room - got about 10 consoles stacked under my bed already, nowhere to have them out ready to play. you'll definitely enjoy those games tho'! there's a lot of shooter games on the Japanese 360.

What an everloving slap in the face to Gamers of the United States of America. THIS GAME, released first on the PS2 (Japan only)was a godsend of shmups. the music, the gameplay, the artstyle (sigh). And then this comes to XBLA japan in HD and still no western release, not even a PSN Japan release seeing how it was released on the PS2 b4.
