When your think about it this seasons rangers were like Lightspeed Rescue rangers. Red= both badass, strict by the book and serious at times. Blue= Both trained to become something different before being a ranger. Green= Obviously both rebels. Pink=Both big sisters. Yellow= Both smallest and youngest

You know what is curious? This is the most modern series of Power Rangers and has very bad special effects. Mighty Morphin is the oldest PR series, and its special effects are much better that Samurai's.

@HeliusSolar not really.. their effects were TERRIBLE. It's just we live in a post-Avatar/Star Wars world where we base things on what we see on our PS3's... Also because they used people and suits and action figures more than they used CGI. And if you watch how far the series has progressed, especially with wire and camera work, they have come a VERY long way, noted in 2002's Forever Red and only got better from there. Mind you they overkilled the effects at points, but overall...

I'm very sorry, I'm a HUGE fan of Power Rangers. I LOVE Power Rangers, and I LOVE Haim Saban for creating the show. But, can I just say that even though Haim Saban is doing Samurai, I just want to say, Samurai is really bad. I was VERY disappointed when this first aired. They writing in it is good and the jokes are funny, BUT, it has HORRIBLE actors. I'm sorry but, Samurai is the 3rd worst Power Rangers. (Mystic Force being 2nd and Overdrive being 1st)

I have to say, this season is the best season of PR I have ever seen. The fight scenes are like as if Zack Snyder directed this season, even the crossover movie had tons of slow motion fight scenes. It even had perfect camera angle and focus. Especially with widescreen and camera shake. It felt like each episode was a whole one year film series; fast made and yet it looks professional.

@RedSamuriPowerRanger Yup. And all because of Haim Saban, I've gotten really interested in Power Rangers again. I even began watching Super Sentai as well. I wasn't really into Power Rangers much after Operation Overdrive in 2007, and I thought RPM was pretty good. Stopped watching after Disney's 2010 MMPR re-version. I just think putting cheap comic book graphics all over a classic show is kinda pointless.

@TheMattinator They didn't ruin anything. This is the Samurai theme song, not the Mighty Morphin theme song. This, and Zeo are based on Go Go Power Rangers by Ron Wasserman, not Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

@AngemonRulez Go Go Power Rangers was the MMPR theme (or a least part of it was). The Zeo one was ok, but the least they could have done was re-record the "power rangers!!" bit which was obviously from the original. This one, the arrangement is good but the lyrics are terrible.

@TheMattinator Once Alien Rangers came about, Go Go Power Rangers was no longer the MMPR theme song. What I'm saying is post MMPR, it became a song that is used occasionally for Power Rangers. GGPR is associated with mmpr, zeo, mmar and samurai.

People are constantly comparing this song to mmpr as if they made a copy, no its not a copy. It is Samurai's version of Go Go Power Rangers.

I try really hard to get into this season, I honestly do, but I just can't. I don't like the main five characters' acting. I understand there has been terrible acting in Power Rangers in the past, but for some reason to me they are just so emotionless and deadpan.

Power Rangers was the best thing that happened to me. Idc how overdone and cheesy it gets. Its awesome. And redoing the original theme song and "redesigning" 2 of the most iconic minor characters, Bulk and Spike, for PR Samurai is just amazing.

There are 2 things I don't like about this series:

1-The morphing sequence takes too long.

2-The Rangers(specially the Gold Ranger)are kinda...show off,they are more show off that having a good charisma or like Zordon say:"Recruit a team with attitud";which is something this team lacks.

I realised that Saban is trying to replicate the original Japanese Samurai Sentai Shinkenger in English. Unfortunately, the transition was poorly done. Some additions and modifications like how they call their zords and how they transform into strange strange armour are really uncalled for, but that's just my opinion.

Since I came in in the middle of the series, I didn't know what was going on, but from what I saw, the show was less episodic and had villains that came up with plans that were closer to what Lord Zedd made. It still had silly moments, but all and all, I would say it was fairly decent.

Which is not the case, the story behind it will be explained later.

The talking got less as the show progress but the characters it self are growing.

They stick closely to the line of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.

The only thing I would like to see is a better voice acting with the enemies on the ship.

For the rest I give the show a 7/10

@OmgItzDat1guy It's under rated in my opinion. In a nutshell, it has the flavor of MMPR, but it has under acting instead of over acting. But like MMPR it's action scenes are graced with this awesome music in the background.
