Tekno with breakcoreparts 2:00 . If u are doing a teknoset and wanted to switch to your breakcore records this be a good record to switch styles. Can we agree ? If u call it Dubstep though, i'd recommend a visit to your local eardoctor.
@dwaynedibbly Tantalum cones - Diplomat & Trouble, Sirens of Aqua Sulis - Producer, Richies Breakcore Love Song - Teknoist, No Try - Epsilon, a lot of stuff by DJ Dolphin, Zenith is good (the stuff is a little aged by today's standards though [streets of avalon is amazing]), Dolphin and Tox stuff off early Deathchant, a lot of Bloody Fist stuff incorporates classical instrument samples, and I'm done name dropping ;)
@inimalist some good recs here, cheers. tantalum clones is an epic classic -only heard it the other day listneing to an old technodrone set from mid 90's and was wondering what the name was :)
@inimalist tbh I find the older stuff, from what I've heard, more interesting than the new stuff as it seemed to have more creative elements alongside the relentless kickdrone which I find gives it a more nice contrast. So feel free to rec me more oldskoolers alongthose lines.
@dwaynedibbly well like, the stuff that has the soft synths over the harsh kicks is rarer than just more experimental stuff. As far as stuff like Butterfly or Tantalum cones, I wish I knew where to find lots of that. Breakcore/IDM has a lot of it (Bong ra, Venetian snares, enduser, etc). But I totally agree, the older stuff is far more creative and experimental. Deathchant sort of before 2002ish is some of the best hardcore ever, same with bloody fist, so I'd say check those lables out :)
@inimalist Tantalum clones is one of my favourite deathchants, not the hardest song in the world, but still sound amazing coming out of a good system :)
any 1 knows the accords for the piano play? Know the first ones tho' C4 - G#4 - D#4 - C4 (Little longer than the others) - G#4 - D#4 - C4.... Then i am lost
