@petlover1010 Whenever they get dirty really. As a puppy I had to wash Choncie at least once a week. Because he would like to get dirty. I also washed him once a week so he could get use to taking a bath, that way when he got big he wouldn't be much to handle. But I haven't washed him now in 2 in half months. He is over a year old tho. But whenever he starts to get dirty I give him one.
I got him from a breeder here in South Carolina. Its pretty easy to find one, just takes some time. Just google purebred or golden retriever breeders in (your state) thats how I found mine, there are lots of breeders, call a lot of them, find out which ones have good experience and a price that you can afford, also some breeders goldens will be dark and others almost white, so always get pictures. And go pick it out in person with a check, its wrong, but some people will scam you, even for that

I got him for $475 But most of the breeders I saw like their listings when I called were like 800, some 1100, some cost a lot more b/c they are like "perfect" as far as the looks for showing and stuff. We called this one and they were 800 but I would have to wait till Christmas, like 3 weeks ago to get him. But I found one for 475 and she seemed like a ok breeder, only had 3 litters, but she knew what she was doing. And you have to make a deposit usually around 150 to hold the dog
