Wow, I just put in the game disc and clicked load at the main menu and it said my file was corrupt and needed to be deleted. I obviously didn't but instead went and looked at the memory card. The Lego Star Wars file logo was a white block and the instead of it saying Lego Star Wars under it, it just had "yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy­yyyy" and the y's had 2 dots on top of them. I've now deleted it and I gotta start from the beginning :(

Though blowing up your droid may seem like a bad idea, it is worth noting you don't lose studs (from the act of self-destruct). This means that you could blow up to prevent losing studs from falling, or you can send your droid, which is usually ignored by enemies, into the middle of a bunch of them, and boom. .
