una vez lo fui a ver a un concierto , y de bis toco el capricho 5 de paganini ... fue expectacular, el toca expectacular, ademas que es super buena onda ... uno podia acercarse a el y conversar (: ....
This is beautiful. He makes it sounds so easeful and nice, but can really PLAY when he needs to.
I really like the piece because, even though it has difficult parts in it, the whole movement isn't just flashy and obnoxious, there are really slow gorgeous parts in it too.
Orchestra is the Südwestrundfunk Orchestra. You could think of it as something like the BBC Symphony Orchestra: Wales. It's a public broadcasting station's orchestra but for the southwest part of Germany.
there are 3 chungs and all rediculously talanted and julliard trained if im not mistaken, you can ask you tube user "twofinedays" about it, i think she knows kyung wha chung
Thank you, Scott! Now I see... I watched their wonderful trio where they are very young. Don't remember where I watched it... probably here, on youtube.
yes the chung trio videos were put up by the user twofinedays
i would like to add the mintz recording of the caprices and dvorak/sibelius are well worth having if you can find them on cd, among the finest recordings i own, exploding with color and emotion
i have the mintz vieuxtemps 5 cd its not nearly as good as this performance for some reason, as you probably know strange things happen when you know you are being recorded...
Oh Scott... Thanks for showing it to me!!! Falling in love to his playing! I know how difficult the c-rto to play... Auditioned with it and can't forget this hard work, especially with these triplets and cadenza... Completely agree with your comment!
