i'm a huge fan of both players, but you can't say federer hit a lucky shot. He practices that shot just as much as any of his others, so he's definitely got that in his book of plays. I did how ever love novak's response, and do get annoyed like anyone else of press conferences continually asking the same questions

not only did Federer hit the shot again this year aginst Dabul in the first round, he also did one aginst Potito Starace at the Switzerland v Italy Davis cup play-offs after the US open final last year, the latter was no where near as good as the US open ones though.
