Another example (if any are really needed) of the idiocy masquerading as "modern music". It’s all cranky and bizarre with no real meaning at all. Infact, just senseless rubbish packaged for the moronic masses.
@reziztanze You are a troll. That is ground breaking stuff. This was imitated by Dee Snider, as well as every glam rock band in the 70's. Art imitating satire. That is sublime. You ever see the "Phantom of the Paradise"? Remember 'Beef'? QWAY LEWD! QWAY LEWD! QWAY LEWD! QWAY LEWD! QWAY LEWD!
@reziztanze No, it's called satire. It's when you make fun of something by masquerading as an exaggerated version of it. It was poking fun at glam rock, while singing a song about poor little rich white kids on drugs. It's a bizzaro snapshot of white America in 1975, baby, If you think it's feminine, then I think you need to study the context a bit more.
Oh, and acting morally outraged at a video from 36 years ago is a little sad, anyway.
@oZo61 No, it's called LUNACY! Come on, just look at this idiot. And the whole so - called “glam rock “is a joke. All these groups (and the negative songs they sing) have a destructive influence on kids. Infact, since this garbage came out (in all its forms) discipline, respect, morals have vanished.
All this rubbish did was lay the ground for even bigger freaks like Lady Ga Ga!
@reziztanze - Lunacy can be fun in a 'respectable world' full
of bloodsheds!***) Your mentioned 'morals' have disappeared because of ***) and not because of some entertainers who reflect all this by persiflaging this planet's madness. It's a relief for the audience! They need it! The world needs even more freaks - there's a job being offered!
Oh come off it - these guys are FUNNY - best live act ever. If u can't get that, you need to lighten up- take a Valium or something , Johny .... [tee he!]
@oZo61 - your client >reziztanze< could be a hopeless case - as already the name says. I've just sent him a message - then I realized you'd done that already. He might be grateful, you'll never know!
Having known them in their prime (Palace of Fine Arts Theatre Shows, Marina District), and see them over the years, one can't help but be impressed at the tightness of the act. Rick is a great bassist and Roger is inspirational one lead guitar. Sorry Praire and Vince are gone. They always been the best there ever has been at Theatre Rock! Go gett'um Fee...
Love it ! ! ! Was DEE SNIDER even anybody back in 1975 ???

@reziztanze Rather see these originals ,than that Twisted Sister ,"Dee Snider "cunt. Who ripped off this act.
Although this hasn't aged that well, around '75 this was earth shaking stuff.

Saw this in Toronto in 1975. Definitely one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Nobody ever put theatre and rock together like the Tubes.

I love this band (The Tubes). Thanks for posting. They still sound great.
