I have a miracle baby too. He was born at 27 weeks. The doctors arent entirely sure why he was born so very early but they suspect it was a combination of blood pressure issues and a 10% placental abruption. But the underlying cause is unknown. He survived thank God and is today a thriving 14 1/2 yr old and his only true issue is very mild cerebral palsy that only truly affects his right leg and he doesnt even let THAT slow him down!
I had my son at 31 weeks, he was 2lbs 10 oz 17 inches. He is now almost 8 months and 16 pds. I was wondering how I can make a video of him with a slide show of pictures and music in the background.
What an absolutely beautiful little girl! My son was born 10 weeks early too due to the same issues (preeclampsia and then HELLP).. Most amazing little miracles!!!!
My wife had HELLP syndrome at 37 weeks...our wee boy was almost fully mature when born. We were very lucky comparing with you guys, your story is completely amazing, a miracle. Congratulations for you pretty girl and happy ending.
wow you and your husband must be really strong to have gone through this with your little one, idk how i would take it if i were in that situation. im 30 weeks tomorrow..
Wow!!! I had fraternal twins 10 weeks early because of toxemia and I had to stay in the hospital for 10 days after they were born because I had congestive heart failure and kidney failure. I didn't get to see my babies for 2 days, all I had was a picture of each one sent to me by a NICU nurse. I know exactly what you have been through. It's a blessing that everything turned out alright. Destiny is a fighter and I am glad to see that she is doing good. God bless.
Her official weight at birth was just barely under 2 pounds. Later we found out she should have weighed 1 lb 9 oz because she was born with gas in her belly.
I hope you both are doing well today... thank you for sharing your story to help raise awareness about Preeclampsia/HELLP Syndrome. What a 4th of July celebration your family had :) Best wishes!
