I loved Hairspray saw it in NY when Marissa was in it. She was so good! I understand what people say about so much Disney on Broadway but then again it's a great way to get kids interested in theatre at a young age. Thanks Ryan.

Ohhhhhhhh my gosh. Brooke and Tiffany were in Hairspray 2007!!!! (the movie) they played Noreen and Doreen!!! Eeek!! Now Brooke is playing Tammy!!??? Wooooooot!!! I really wish I could have fulfilled my dream and go to NY to see Hairspray on Broadway but I guess that's not going to happen. I would have really loved to see it.

Oh man - he is so fine.

I love how all of these shows are closing before I even get a chance to see them. I'm a little worried about the future of Broadway and I swear that if Disney put ONE MORE musical out I'm going to throw something (rumor is they're soft testing finding nemo).

testing? idk, they have one in Animal Kingdom, its okay, but short enough to be Theme Park show. Though it looks like a full fledged Broadway show, its okay although Disney has enough already on broadway @_@

They opened it down there as a soft test to see how people would react to it. I heard from someone who worked there that it was a tentative test to see if it would work on Broadway one day... It's alright but not that great

I've only seen Lion King on Broadway when it comes to Disney shows but I've seen clips of Little Mermaid and it just looks ridiculous... I mean just think about what would happen if Disney took over Broadway... YIKES!

Ahh so sad about Hairspray closing! It was what introduced me to musical theatre and what made me fall in love! I was so lucky to see it last summer but plan on seeing it again before it closes. Thank you for sharing this!
