I don't think this can be a response to the content of this audio excerpt, the phenomenal writing of Melville is incredible. The man continues to be a giant of the written word, just listen to this for 5 or 10 minutes--ignore the narrator's voice if you don't happen to like it and pay attention to WHAT is said---its absolutely incredible writing on an incredible subject. It will put you on your ass with a big grin pasted across your face. Enjoy!!
