Unexpected combination of excerpts from a 1940s movie and 1970s song. The result is interesting and strangely seductive, but I miss the original score.
Where's the score?!!!!! One of the best scores and you get rid of it.!!!! Why don't you do a montage on Vertigo and get rid of the score on that as well?!!!
Gregory Peck is the most handsome man ever. I mean, could you beat that?
The video is really cute and well made. And he looks so adorable.
Sorry. I do this when i watch his movies for the first time. I just can't focus on the story. I have to watch them a second time. I'm going to do this with your tribute, too.
ohh this is fabulous too! Actually this film holds a special place in my heart because it was the film that made me fall in love with film acting, I just remeber being very mesmerized by Ingrid, and I still am! Thanks for making this!
I can totally understand what you mean, 'cuz it was about the same for me. It was this movie that first made me interested in Ingrid Bergman and old black and white movies. I really was "spellbound" by everything about it :P
Yes I have and it was great! She never stop to impress! And not only was it great to see our two big Bergmans together but I really liked seeing Ingrid in her "true" environment again after so many years. She really is the swedish pride (at least for me :) )
From the little i've seen of it, Ingrid seems to fit sooo well, because her acting was soo modern in its realism, she never seemed to "fit" into the period, but since the film is soo modernistic it.. wow can't even describe what I'm trying to say..anyways I need to see it and then I'll let u know my profound thought that can't come out right now. I also like Lena Olin too!
hmm, I can't say that I quite follow you...sorry.
She did fit well tho, but mostly I was so amazed of hearing her speak swedish again :) Didn't like Liv Ullman at all tho (Ingrid's characters daughter), so that made the movie not as good as it could have been.
Well, if you see it, I'm curious of hearing your "profound thought" :)
and yeah, Lena Olin is good too. I often happen to forget about her tho, since she often plays supportive roles...
Excuse me..I totally wasn't making sense. What I mean is Ingrid's earlier acting..in the 40s she was soo utterly ahead of her time in her acting. I'll definitely let u know about my "profound thought" when I see the film. It's such a shame that Lena Olin plays supporting roles, she's soo good. The first thing I thought when seeing her in "the Unbearable Lightness of Being" was "wow she sounds like Ingrid!" lol soo what other actors do you like???
I've never seen "the Unbearable Lightness of Being" but yeah, I guess she do have a bit of the swedish accent left, just as Ingrid. I never quite think about it tho, since I so often hear that type of english, being a Swede myself.
Others actors I like is quite a few, but to name a few I like Cary Grant, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Julie Andrews and a whole bunch of others. You?
Oh you NEED to see it, the first part is better than the second though! Ahh you like everyone I like just to add to the list Juliette Binoche, Ralph Fiennes and Helen Mirren are my favorites.
I love this movie and I love what you did with it... great song choice too! Thanks so much for making this - hope to see a next one soon ;). Yay Ingrid!
I seriously can't imagine a more handsome man than Gregory Peck
