Help! I watched reruns and an episode ended with a cliffhanger and wasn't continued. Picard, Beverly and Worf were off to the Cardassians about biogenetic weapons or something and Picard was captured. And the Enterprise got a new, annoying captain who sucked at being diplomatic talking with the Cardassians about peace. Can anyone tell me at least what season that was or even the name of the episode?

Shatner is the reason Star Trek became popular to begin with, Stewart road in on his coat tails. Also the whole Knight Hood thing is a stupid comment because Shatner is Canadian, not British, so he can't be Knighted. I do believe he has an order of Canada, and a Star on the Canadian Walk of Fame... does Stewart? No. Shatner has a Star on the Hollywood walk of fame, does Stewart? I don't know

The thing is Conrad Black is a thief and a liar who ruined people lives with out any second thought, so... yeah being "Honored" by the Queen really doesn't mean all that much to me. I'll take an Emmie, Stars on the walks of fame, and a paycheck any day.
@McMahonHater Psh. Spock is the reason why TOS became so popular. Spock was such a (dare I say it?) fascinating character that he helped carry the series to greatness. I'm not saying that others, such as Bones and Scotty and even Kirk, didn't help. I just believe that Spock was the reason why people are still fangirling or fanboying today.
@aghuskins Spock was the logic, and McCoy was the emotion, while Kirk was the voice of reason that took the best of both. Spock and McCoy were both great, but try running a star ship with out compassion, or other feelings. A grate character has to be well rounded, Spock wasn't, and Kirk was. Even Lenard Nemoi will tell you "When Bill Shatner showed up that's when the series really began to cook." (just listen to the comintary on Star Trek III).
Picard was bad ass to the point that he rarely had to prove how bad ass he was. He can fist fight Klingons and will take an arrow to the chest to prove he's not a god.

i never really cared for TNG. i can't find TOS anywhere on british tv and DS9 and enterprise are shit. by process of elimination, to say nothing of the shows general awesomeness, i prefer voyager because, let's face it, any show showing jeri ryan naked (episode Q2) is worth watching

@thatthinker Nope, b/c in his previous video (Questions Answered!) he asked for the nerdfighters to give him clips to make a montage. And the only exemption to the 4 minute rule is when there is a nerdfighter montage :)

@pienkunicorn I think a lot of hardcore Trek fans hate DS9 because it was more "military" oriented especially towards the end. That and the writers made the Federation seem just as flawed as modern day government with Admirals staging coups and secret organizations waging shadow wars.
@Fbueller129 That's exactly what I liked about it. It made the whole thing more believable. And I really identify with the Bajoran situation.
It did get a bit depressing at the end with all the battles. But overall its an amazing series. They did so much with it. And there are two vilians you can really love to hate.

My sister's faviourate is Voyager. It might have been my pick too, but Janeway irritates me to no end.

The two species were peaceful, so there was no reason to think that one *had* to die, but Phlox insisted that they stop helping.

@krinaJ The Next Generation was the best of the series. The budget was bigger, the characters were stronger, the crew wasn't multicultural to make a point instead it was just about the actors talent. The series was just better in every single way. Overall, the Original Series was pretty bad. But it'll always be my favorite, because I was brought up loving The Original Series.
TOS is my favorite because of novelty. But TNG is still the better series.
@krinaJ TNG was boring, unless an episode was about Worf or Data, other wise they just flew around in a big Star Ship not fighting, not flirting. There was nothing "every-man" about it. No real adventure, and no real men. It was more like "The Neutral Generation" and it sucked. I wouldn't even have it in my collection, except it ties into DS9. Now Ben Sisko, their was a man's man, and a Kirk fan on top of it. YES! TNG was a disgrace to Sci-Fi, Adventure, and the Original Series.

@rcnrcn927 Are you kidding? Next Generation is awesome! I would argue that it's even tied with original as the best Star Trek series. And would you prefer he write a song about Kirk? Come on. Kirk is cool and all, but he doesn't even compare to Picard.

@krinaJ The Next Generation was the best of the series. The budget was bigger, the characters were stronger, the crew wasn't multicultural to make a point instead it was just about the actors talent. The series was just better in every single way. Overall, the Original Series was pretty bad. But it'll always be my favorite, because I was brought up loving The Original Series.
TOS is my favorite because of novelty. But TNG is still the better series.

@krinaJ TNG was boring, unless an episode was about Worf or Data, other wise they just flew around in a big Star Ship not fighting, not flirting. There was nothing "every-man" about it. No real adventure, and no real men. It was more like "The Neutral Generation" and it sucked. I wouldn't even have it in my collection, except it ties into DS9. Now Ben Sisko, their was a man's man, and a Kirk fan on top of it. YES! TNG was a disgrace to Sci-Fi, Adventure, and the Original Series.

I remember the four lights one... it was two parts and when i first saw it i was like 10 so i had to go to bed before the second part... then I finally watched the whole like two years later and I'm proud to say that THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!!!!

@TheJohn6632;; I agree. Kirk was ten times better than Picard (plus Picard is to blame for Kirk's death). He deserves a song far more than the bald Canadian-Frenchman. What would Kirk do? Kill a few redshirts, fall in love with a space princess, and end up solving the problem in a way that is totally entertained. What would Picard do? Tell Riker to take care of it and sit on his fluffy bridge. >_>;; Pansy.
