  • @zrzrwowo so what youre describing is modern day slavery. i cant believe this type of behavour is still goin on in todays society. its just sad what others do to their fellow humans for the sake of the almighty dollar. just very sad indeed.

  • ED HIGH FIVE!

  • Ed, you did a really nice job with introducing the women, your presentation was powerful and it kept the viewers intrigued to find out their full stories.

    good job bud :)

  • ED lol good job dude, no its actually pretty good

  • seems like this issue has become pretty serious... we keep hearing about how developed singapore has become in the last 10 years... and they have not been able to control human rights violations. i feel that its possible that the elite / political families of singapore would have employed these poor migrant workers/maids... and they would not want these issues to be highlighted or controlled.

  • yes i agree this is a situation that needs to be solved. these maids have no way to speak out

  • did you put this together ed? it's really good. i give you an A+

  • she was so upset (obviously - i would be too if i was her are you kidding) that she asked the sophomore girl's mom if she knew any hit men that could kill her husband for her.

this is not exactly what your project is about, but i hope it puts the hardships these maids are dealing with into context - it seems like they are struggling back home too.

    :(

  • jamie omg hahhah. :(

ed let me tell you a true story that i heard last night. a sophomore at ASIJ's made is from the Philippines and she has been working for this girl's family for many years now, sending every cent of money she makes, to her husband and children back home. however, she recently heard from an acquaintance in her hometown [village] that her husband has been married to another woman for a long time now and has 2 kids with her. no one even knows where the maid's kids are. so then

  • nice job ed, i feel deep respect for maids now.

  • great use of effects ALOT better than the draft haha. not as boring with the long interviews.

  • lol lol... how are you going to get 300 views ed...
