  • Why muted?

  • Per Kirven at Rotor Ring. Thru their realtionship with the Cervelo Test Team, if you are running Sram Red go with a Force F.Derailleur. The stiffer cage makes for a cleaner more positve shift...The "elliptical" shape creates a gap larger than a round ring making the jump to the chain ring more challenging.

Or just go with Rotor's round rings.

  • Shimano abandoned Biopace years ago.

  • cervelo test team uses rotor cranks cause the sram ones break way too much!

  • It was tricky to get it to shift properly without the chain dropping. When I got that fixed, I still couldn't get the full range of gears. 53/23 and 53/21 rubs. But in a good way, my shifting habits have changed and I'm now avoiding these "bad" gear ratios - which u shoudl anyway. I see that Cervelo Test team using a Rotor Chain Catcher. They might help. I have no complaints though - very happy with these.

  • i having the same problem with my r3 ... everytime i stand up the chain keep dropping in front of the chainset... and for reason i dont have enough room from the FD cage to the highest point of the ring. any suggestion?

  • Not sure how u would solve that.
