  • And does anyone know where I can find the pic @ 50-53?! Please

  • Love You, Aaliyah! R.I.P.

PS: Still the BADDEST in the game.

  • Everyone saying "Aaliyah" at the beginning of "I miss U" gives it a nice ring. "Aaliyah, I miss U." I would have liked to hear that recorded at the beginning of the song.

  • Ha Timbaland look high smh lol

  • the thing is 2day u have 2 be a fukwit 2 make it / it dose not pay 2 be good u cant say artist 2 day are as good as what aaliyah was look at it this was 2day we have craked out kesha whos on drugs then we have upset craked out rihanna who went crazy after chris brown hit her see the dif u cant compare aaliyah 2 them she was 1 in a million

  • her death pisses me off so bad . i want her back

  • aaliyah had soooooo much more life ahead of her. RIP she would have been great

  • i wonder why missy referred to magoo as "another young man". what happened between him and timbaland?

  • is in the front tank crying?

  • im very happy that my fav female artist was from my hometown i will forever miss her love ya aaliyah

  • street but sweet.rest in peace

  • Princess of R&B ?? NAH SHE'S THE QUEEN!! I LOVE YOU AALIYAH ! RIP. R&B WILL NEVER BE THE SAME !!

  • A part of me is grateful we got a chance to know her talent, but at the same time I wish she hadn't been pimped out so young. If only to let her live a long and healthy life.

  • i luv back and forth! wat happened to the 1990's it was all good til i heard the news on my tv and i cried because she was my fav singer & always be!

  • Aww i notice how every single one of them in the beginning pronounced her name wrong but we all still love you Aaliyah R.I.P angel <3

  • did yall notice at the end when they were showing one in a million how you can see where the intro part of Disturbia came from the people yall rag on "musically" are influenced just like us by HER

  • they did this very poorly! we could have watched her videos on youtube

  • @AaliyahDawnTEAM I agree they could've put more effort into this tribute

  • Man although I thnk BET to for at least doing something for Aaliyah I must say I've very dissapointed how short this tribute was for that to had been her 10 yr anniversery...when Selena's 10 yr anniversery hit the hispanic community made sure Selena got a televised concert (Selena Vive) which btw is the highest rated most viewed Spanish language TV special EVER in the history of television..we couldve done the same for Aaliyah but..it is wut it is..still love and miss me some Aaliyah RIP mamaz!

  • @gangstakendoll I agree, but I think the difference is. Is that Selena did a lot more than Aaliyah did. Ali took a break to finish school and was just getting back into the industry and about to make it big when she died. Selena had been singing since 1981 and she was on the Tejano scene from 85-95. She had more than Ali did. I don't think Ali even toured. Ali was focusing more on movies (she would've been amazing) and the music slightly took a back seat. But they could've done something,I agree.

  • @bsbncandey true Selena did have a longer career span than Aaliyah but for both of them to had been young they did a hell of a lot most 22,23 year old WISH they could do,,i find it eerie that not only did both of them die young (Aaliyah 22 Selena 23), both died in tragic ways and both was about to be big but didn't get to reach their full potiential..and naa Aaliyah didn't tour but after she were to have finished RTB she had a world tour planned..Aaliyah was getting ready to do way too much

  • @gangstakendoll I noticed that too, when Aaliyah died, it's eerie. Both had their families with them and were close to them. And for them to be in the business and be normal, sweet girls that died such violence deaths is so ironic seeing how their lifestyles were. That summer of 01 I knew Aaliyah was going to be huge the following year. A lot of fans of Sel said the same about her too. Life isn't fair times, it's sad and f**ked up.

  • @gangstakendoll Actually Aaliyah did tour! She toured in Japan and in Amsterdam in 1995. And a couple of other countries in Europe but i can't remember. Theres a video of it and someone in Amsterdam interviewing her and showing her perform.

  • @Richboy219 i know she toured i apologize for not clerifying myself i meant to say during her 1st album she didn't tour alot but of course she toured during her OIAM days and was on the verge of putting "Aaliyah" on the map w a 22 country world tour but..it never got to happen..

  • @gangstakendoll Oh its cool, and yea i also heard she was suppose to do a world tour the same year she died starting in December 2001. She said it on an MTV interview. I think it was TRL. Damn i wished she lived to experience that :-(

  • The best are taken young <3

  • Thank you SOO much for uploading this! DirectTV took out BET from my TV and I didn't get to see this. Thank you so much! Rest in peace and power Aaliyah!

  • omg thanks so much for uploading!!!!! <3

  • @0:06 laurieann gibson!

  • tank cryin, R.I.P Aaliyah

  • I enjoyed this <33

  • doubt ill get to see or even saw this on the u.k. bet thanks for the upload.

  • Someone gonna tell me why it says 'Ashanti & Aaliyah' 'If Your Girl Only Knew' by the side from iTunes? Fuckery

  • I love this RIP Aaliyah did anyone notice Tank crying in the beginning :(

  • @EdTV20 I noticed him too. He made me cry!

  • @EdTV20 yeah kinda made my heart ache..

  • I think its kinda sad how all the people in the beginning say her name, people who were very close with her are all saying her name wrong. Aaliyah was VERY clear in interviews that her name is pronounced "ah-LEE-yuh" not "uh-LEE-yuh".

  • THANKSS 4 the upload,,ii hadd churchh nd hadd 2 miss it,,thankk youu sooooooooo muchh

  • The thing that pisses me off is that now Aaliyah is gone you get crappy artists like Katy Perry and Rihanna who really aren't worth a crap. Even Beyonce, while incredibly talented, doesn't really pull it off musically in my opinion. Aaliyah, even though she didn't write her own music, really was one in a million. Just can't believe its been 10 years.

  • @jamstrings100 I know right? Aaliyah was crazy good..

  • @jamstrings100 I agree with you 100%. Some people don't agree when I say Aaliyah was a better artist than Beyonce. Beyonce is incredibly talented but she lacks something else.

  • @KeesusChrist

I disagree. While I believe Aaliyah would have been greater artist than she was at the time. Beyonce is still one of the greatest talents the world has seen. I am getting tired of fans of artists feeling need to put other artists down particularly since the beginning both her and Beyonce were different artist. Aaliyah loved Beyonce, and Beyonce love her so stop putting her down and stop comparing as they have never and never be the same.

  • @KeesusChrist

The only thing I will say Aaliyah would have been a better triple threat than Beyonce as girl could act.

  • @fight4acause trust queen of the damned is amazing and romeo must die and in aaliyah's movies she never had the role of a singer she would always play someone cool, deep, but in a way it still related to her

  • @KeesusChrist Beyonce used her father and other members of Destiny's Child to get the career she has now. I am sure Aaliyah could be accused of the same thing because her family groomed her into a star but I still think its different. Beyonce reminds me of that kind of cutthroat person like Nicole Scherzinger who will do anything and walk over anyone to have a career. The majority of Aaliyah's music was, and still is, better than Beyonce's too. Plus Beyonce's style has nothing on Aaliyah's.

  • @KeesusChrist Thanks for commenting though and thanks to all the other people for giving my comment a thumbs up. I needed it lol.

  • @KeesusChrist Thanks for the positive comment too :)

  • @jamstrings100 she wasn't one in a million, she's more of a one in infinity :)

  • @jamstrings100 HOLD UP Aaliyah didn't write her own music? I know she wrote most of her songs what the... man I didn't know that, still hard to believe but I agree with everything else u had to say! Aaliyah did put A LOT OF HEART N SOUL into her music! Most of these RnB and Pop trash diva's doesn't come close!

  • @Larh124 It's true, Aaliyah did NOT write her own music; however, she humbly states that in several interviews. She does not take credit for written music and would have told you so. She is given material and performs it. But who's to say that it doesn't become her own when she performs it. Like you said, She puts A LOT of her HEART N SOUL into the music.

Even knowing that, she still is the music she performs...she is believable...and she is unique.

  • @jamstrings100 You guys ever get tired of bringing up Beyonce and other musicians compared to Aaliyah every second? Watch the damn video and just like or dislike it.
