Surprisingly it was ok to stand so close to the bells. You almost need ear plugs when you go right under one of those. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Sorry for my english,if it's not enough! The bells of S.Marco is one of the most suggestive peal in italy. is not perfectly tuned, but it is not badly.
